Nice to meet you. I too am in the 41 year old club. All I can say to you is that you know ur body better than anyone. It is extremely hard without this surgery to keep off excess weight. Plus you don't want to get to a point where you start developing other obese relate issues like sleep apnea. U look amazing. But, getting the sleeve could possibly put u around 160-170 pounds. U would feel amazing and that fatty liver wouldnt be fatty any longer. Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

Husband is supportive but also not
BigJay79 replied to cellbell's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey there, In my opinion your husband won't get it. My wife doesn't struggle with weight issues so she doesn't get it either. She was on board at first but then when I got further into the process she started acting really strange. It really kind of made me resent her in a few ways because I allowed how she felt make the decision for me. So I ended up quitting the process. As soon as I quit the process she stopped acting strange we our problems went away. You gotta do this for yourself regardless of how ur husband feels. He just needs to put on his big boy pants and be supportive. My wife use to be an A cup and when she came to me wanting to get a boob job I said your are fine the way that u are but if u want to do this for yourself go for it and I was supportive. I wish she supported me. Don't quit like I did. Do the surgery and get your life back. Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app -

Hey there, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm just starting the journey here and looking to connect with people who are also starting the journey. I have lost about 30 pounds on my own. I want to get down 50 pounds before I start the surgery process. Good luck to you. FYI you already look so amazing Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

You look so amazing before and after your surgery. I'm so happy for you. Screw those hater co workers of yours. I just can't understand how people can't be happy for a person. Losing weight is so hard, you would think people would be understanding. Keep up the great work. Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

You have to shock up your system. If you have a normal eating routine switch it up, and walk more if you can. Water in take is super important. You lost a lot of weight and when u hit that stall shocking the system and changing things up will help. Don't let your body get use to to same routine of foods. If u have been eating chicken stop that for two weeks and eat fish. Or visa versa. We need variety. Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

Make sure you walk so that ur body can pass the gas. Passing gas and having one stool will get you home. Congrats again!! Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

Great Post. You are definitely paying attention to your new body which is going to help you overall during your journey. What really stuck for me on this post is the part where you speak about the bag and how you can feel the sleeve on your collarbone which is now probably more pronounced. Keep up the good work. People say it takes about a good year after you have completed the peaj off your weight lost before you start to feel better in your new body. Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

I can relate to what you're going through. I don't know about you but I am an emotional eater. So when I am stressed or feel depressed or sad I run to food for emotional support. It's a huge problem. When you think About your relationship with food it's tramatic in a sense. An emotional relationship with food, take that away and u can feel empty and alone. We have issues with food just how people who drink have issues with alochol. Try and figure out that relationship u have with food and I think it will get better. I can relate to you on this topic. Let me first start off by saying you look amazing and are beautiful. It's a shane that you can't get your obese husband on the same page with you on this. I have the opposite situation from you. My wife is much smaller than me. Anytime I talk about losing weight she basically just doesn't support me. The reason I believe for the lack of support is because our spouses want us to be fat. It's sad. U are half the person you are now. I am sure that you can do many more multiple sex positions then you could when you were heavier. Maybe ur husband can't keep up. I truly believe that ur issue in the sex department is not ur issue but is a husband issue. He probably likes bbw's and is not used to u being smaller. What you may have to do is try and just initiate the sex with ur husband when he is sleeping. Do a position that you all aren't used to doing so that he can look forward to that. The excess skin is just an excuse. U are the same person. Beautiful. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

In order to lose consistent weight you have to shock your system every once in a while. Our bodies get use to the same foods and same routine and that is why u hit a snag. Switch it up a bit, take something away from your diet for two weeks and then see ur results. I was a huge pop/soda drinker. For two weeks I stopped drinking the pop/soda and I lost 15 pounds. I ate what I wanted but all I did was drink water and nothing else. I lose that 15 pounds without doing anything drastic. Hope this helps. Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app
