Good Morning! You can tell I am at work early in the am! 8.22.08 225.4lbs 8.29.08 223.8lbs I am down 1.6lbs for the week...still haven't been motivated to exercise! I work to much....60hours this week...blahhhh:cursing:

My ex left me 3 days after being banded...He was sleeping with his ugly ex behind my back...He will regret it now!

So I am going to six flags on Monday...I will be 3 weeks post-op. Should I be fine? I went back to work 3 days after surgery!

I am going to pack a lunch since we can leave and re-enter the park....I am superexcited! Thanks Everyone!

Thanks everyone! I rather be safe then sorry! We are going to pack a lunch and leave it in the car! I cannot wait...My work gave me free passes and I have to use them by the end of the season and monday is the last day that the water park is open and it is going to be 80 out! I am sooo excited...last time i went to an amusement park was in 1999!

I am still numb and I was banded on 8.11.08....nerve damage...may or may not come back...

I know it stinks to have to loose 10lbs when y ou want something sobad! ON my pre-op diet I lost 13.2lbs in two weeks and probably would have lost more if I didn't cheat and go to red robin and applebees.... I had 3 protein shakes a day and a sensible dinner.

There is a pain that only comes when I breathe because when there is pressure applied there. It feels as if my port is rubbing on my ribs....Is this normal? Is it from swelling? It is worst then yestereday...I told the doctor about the pressure and he said that is becuase i haven't had a bm, but today it feels as if something is rubbing there....anyone else experience this?

So I am sitting here crying and crying...Crying so hard it felt that something popped inside of me...My boyfriend of almost 2 years just left me...he was sleeping with his exwife behind my back and went back to her....I am sooo broken....He just came here and packed everything up....So here I am all alone just had surgery this past monday and everything was going so good and just bam in my face! I feel just alone...no one here.... ps...I did call the doctor and still waiting for a response back....:tongue_smilie:

That shot is horrible...I first got it in the arm and now 11 days later I still have the softball size bruise...They give you 3 a day...I had it 3 more times but those times in the thighs...hardly any pain.

I shouldn't complain then! I have just a liquid diet with mushy foods such as cottage cheese, oatmeal, pudding...I thought I had it rough...Good Luck! I know those cheeseburgers look good but they aren't worth it in the end...

So I am dreaming of the mushies. I was banded over a week ago and I still have 2 weeks of liquids to go...I am starving.... So what does mushies consist of?

Try Hummus???? Tribe Hummus is good....16 different flavors! you can mix it with tuna too!

My doctor doesn't call it mushies either just a stage 4 diet plan...I guess right now I am on mushies/liquids...protein shakes, puddings, cottage cheese, oatmeal, ricotta cheese, jello, etc....I called my doctor and he said I can start stage 4 next monday which is exciting for me...I just feel hungry all the time...

I am probably gonna be starving by the time I have my first fill! I have to wait 8 weeks!!!!! I cannot start mushies until I see the doctor on Sept 3rd!!!

Well positive note...I went on a sweet date today...I had ice cream(not good) since I cannot do dinner yet and then we sat at the ocean...it was nice...

Well i usually get hiccups alot and bad since I always ate and drank to fast. I would get them really deep too! I have been banded a week and haven't had the hiccups at all...probably because I slowed down my eating habits. If you do I have a hug pillow that I hug to my stomach when i sneeze and cough and that helps a lot too! Good luck with your journey into bandland
