    I have a problem

You are so brave to be doing this alone! Alone? I digress! We are all here for you and are going through the same things. I have found a great deal of support just reading the brave thoughts posted here. Hang in there and feel free to contact me whenever you need to! I was banded June 8 so we're going through the same things at pretty much the same time.

Very sad, amd, upset, & confused

I applaud you! You've done a great job, don't let them frustrate you into eating or giving up. Just think how much better prepared you will be when you are finally banded. The Lord did answer, listen, he's saying wait until you are safe! Remember eating our way through vacations is never an option for us, eat healthy and enjoy every mouthful. Have a great vacation!

I Want My Band Removed Now!!!!!

Don't give up on yourself, you are young and should be able to enjoy your life, if you got the surgery you are not happy with your physical self. Force your way through it, you are stronger than you think, lose a few pounds and then decide. Your system is probably out of balance allow it to even out, then make a rational decision with your doctor's imput. Good luck, I believe in you, just believe in yourself and stop selling yourself short!

    i heart nortons!!!!

I'm impressed with your perseverance. It will pay off. My journey took me a year but when it finally came I was more committed than ever. You won't believe how good you'll feel once you get a cpap machine! I was almost 50 years old before I was finally diagnosed and had a full nights rest! I'm so pleased that you are so young and will be able to live a much fuller life! Keep at it!

    not so happy today

At least you were smart enough to get off! When I was in high school when I couldn't buckle I just hid it on my side, talk about an air ride! LOL It hurts but just think it was not a prophecy you are on the way toward liberation!

    another lie

Have you tried Craigslist? There's always some exercise equipment for cheap or since your husband is in the military there is a website for government workers that is a great source for equipment and everything else. I know your hubby said he's support you but many people do not understand what that means. Especially people who are fit, like most military personnel. Wine, him dine him and tell him what to say to you for support and how you NEED him to respond. Many people just don't get it. Love him anyway and look to others for your band support. Good luck!

    What am I gonna do????

I agree that your husband has to be on board and believe in the help you will receive. From a cost effectiveness, price out the cost if you get Type II diabetes, leg problems from being overweight, compromised immune system, being unable to work or take care of your family, the fact that obesity can prematurely terminate your life. Play hardball, make him understand that this is needed for your health both mental and physical! Perhaps you can have your primary care doctor talk to him and explain the danger you are in. Good luck!

    I'm slow but I'm dumb...

I loved your post. I totally agreed with you prior to my banding. I did this to myself and I needed to get the pounds off myself! What a reality check, when you're in pain and hungry it really does help to have someone in your corner rooting for you. At least they didn't sing! I was banded on June 8 so we're going through alot at the same time. I have found this website to be more informative than the doctors. I haven't suffered with nausea yet and have tried to spice up my mushies. I love spicy food and was terrified I wouldn't be able to have it. I hope you stop hurting soon.
