Ok all you young uns I was speaking of earlier, here are some pictures of Lynn Redgrave. Oh, it wasn't Alfie, it was Georgie Girl. They came out about the same time, back in the ancient days of movies. Carol
-
Maybe before my time but who in the hell is Lynn Redgrave? LOL! You are kidding, right????? Guess she really is before your time, I forgot I was with a bunch of young uns! The only thing I can think of that she was in was Alfie, guess tha was in the 60's. Oh, OK, it has been a while. She has been in a lot of movies since then, I just don't know what they are. Her sister is Vanessa Redgrave and she was in the movie Camelot. That was from the 60's also!! Anyway, Allie does look like her. The old, old, old, 60's movie watcher, Carol I know I'm not alone in knowing who Lynn Redgrave is, come on you other "old" broads, let's here from you!!! Carol

I have never heard that but, I too crave sugar. It is a terrible addiction and I think that is truly what it is. I would be interested in knowing if it works also.
-
OH yeah, Alli, I ment to tell you that you look like Lynn Redgrave. Does anyone else think so?? Carol

What little tan I got is fading fast. I must not have spent that much time in the sun... guess I was working on those Maimi Vice drinks.. I do think I drank more on that trip than I have in the last 2 years. Believe it or not!! I have had one here since I got home and it just wasn't the same. I need clypso music in the background, or need to be sitting in a theatre. I have downloaded some of your pictures that were terriffic and I didn't have anything like them. Like the midnight buffet. I didn't go early so I didn't get pictures! Hope you don't mind.

Hope all you Texicans aren't getting washed away. Too bad you can't send some of that rain to east Tennessee. We are having a drought.

Miss everyone, Alli how is Greese? You ought to send us some pictures of what it looks like there. Jenna you ought to Lynn on here so she could "talk" to all of us.

I'll check back in later.

Carol

Thanks Karla for the suggestion to remove the BIG pictures. I couldn't figure out why I had to scroll the frame all the way across the screen!!! Duh! Getting rid of the large picture cured that!! Thanks! Hope everyone has a great 4th! My daughter bought some small fire works for her 2 boys and we did that last night because we didn't have to worry about getting up early the next morning for work. Well, we had sooo much fun that we bought more early this morning so we could do it again tonight!! YEA!!! We are all going to take a nap today so we can stay up late and still maybe make it to work on time tomorrow. :boom: Hugs to everyone  Love ya, miss ya,Carol

Lapbandtalk Cruise 2007!!! Official Sign Up And News
Mystjin replied to princess_n_thep's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
OK ladies, I've not been on this web site for a long time but I am going on this cruise...Yee Hawww! Can't wait! I got burned out on all the bickering that was going on last year and I kind of dropped out. I really thought about not going on the curise but now I'm back and really looking foward to meeting everyone. I do need some support, I've kind of been twiddling my thumbs this year. I need a fill and I changed jobs and had no insurance and now that I have insurance it won't pay for the fills because it was a pre-existing condition. Whew! :faint: I need to get all my 6 month blood work done and get a fill also, GULP. I may call my regular Dr. and see if he will get all the blood work done and send copies to my surgeon. That might help me out some anyway. -

Gone For Good Club - September 2006
Mystjin replied to HeatherGurl's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Whewww! Glad I finally found GFG club again!! What a crazy, wacky few days. It has taken me a couple of days to catch up on what was going on. Hope all is settled down now. I come here for support, because I really need it and a kick in the a$$ once in a while...Telly are you out there? I am still working on the July to Sept. 20th challenge to lose 20 lbs. Not sure I will make it. I keep having to fight with myself over what I eat at night. Just when I think I need another fill, I have several days where I can barely eat anything. At least once a month I go crazy with cravings, do you still have raging hormones monthly after menopause??? I think that I do because it happens about once a month, I could eat anything, and sometimes do. Telly I am so jealous of you I can't stand it but you have really worked your butt off to get where you are. I don't have the time you have to work out, but I don't use the time that I do have to work out. I know that needs to change, it's just getting myself to do it. Oh yes, my stats are wrong on the 1st page. I wish I was where you have me but the real numbers are H 304 J 297 S 286 C 260 G 160 (-44) starting BMI 50.1 current BMI 46.5 -
Count me in for the Sept. challange. 8 lbs it is!! If I can get past myself!! I am my own worst enemy...

H304 C244 G160 -40 total -2 (from 2 weeks ago) There must be something in the air this week. I lost the 2 last week and nothing this week. A lot of people seem to be at a stand still this week. Hey Paul.... you are a HOTTIE!!! You don't HAPPEN to live in East Tennessee do you????? Are you single??????? Everybody looks great! I went to your link PNut and WOW:eek: what a change. You are right the eyes tell it all. I think I need another fill. Some days I can eat quite a bit (although less than pre band) and some days hardly anything. But the weight isn't going down lately. I need to call the Dr.'s office and talk to them. Seems like with what I eat, I should be losing. -

Mystjin replied to Wheetsin's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
503 are you losing weight without feeling restricted? I feel restriction (more some days than others) but I'm not losing very much lately. -

I live in Maryville, TN. my Dr. here is great. Good luck! I think my surgery was about 15K but that was because I got a discount because it was in my local area and insurance gets a discount with local Dr.s and hospitals. Sorry, I don't know about BCBS, I have Wausaw and it covers it.

My brother breaks out in hives once in a while. It is his allergies. Aparently he is allergic to everything. Have you been tested? Might be a good idea. Good luck. Oh by the way P'nut, I loved the "Hugs" thread! Way to go Mr. P'nut...er...Dawg lol...sheepish grin :-) -
Well, I got here late so I don't know if anyone else will see this or not. I have had a hard start at school because the teacher that I usually work with is out because of surgery. That means I have to do my job as well as hers because the sub has never worked special ed and I had to do everything for a few days. That being said, I have had a wonderful day. I needed a hug today so I really appreciated the ones given here. I have been in a good mood all day and when I got to my second job, was complemented on my smile, and my voice ( I answer the phone at a car dealership). This one finance guy calls me "The Voice". "Oh good, she's here, THE VOICE." Those 2 things always make me feel good. I am passing the "hugs" on to everyone else. Have a wonderful day or evening or life. Enjoy the things that you have, don't dwell on what you don't have.
