Thanks! I also have 2 wks of clear and well..Im burnt out already...I did the french onion soup in a can and strained it..I also did wonton soup the same way...yummy..

I am 6 days post op today..Ive been getting pains like I have a big burp coming but one doesnt come..has anyone had this problem..and it is normal?

Yes I have tried the gas x and they do seem to be helpful! Thanks.. As far as swelling...I am just now starting to almost be back to normal.. The swelling is def. there and I would sugest wearing like gym pants..or something not restricting...even something a lil bigger...Jeans is DEF. no for me..I had some on yesterday and I had to unbutton them..the pain I was getting from the gas pushing up from the jeans was terrible. If it was me..I would wear something as comfortable as possible even if I looked like a bum lol

I have been also thinking about waxing...its been a while since I see my hubby as well..and boy would he be excited....funny we think the same way lol

I had my surgery on June 24th..I admit..I weigh myself daily...but thats what helps me get through the day..I am down 10 lbs today! and boy when I seen that I knew that my day wasnt gonna be so hard when I start starving..everybody is different tho..I am sure when u do get on the scale tho...u will be soooo happy and amazed all at one time..I guess I just like mine small doses at a time :wink_smile:

I was banded june 24th (yay 10 lbs down today) well anyways..I was banded on a Tues. and by Friday I was so dehydraqted i had to come in and get to liters of IV fliud..I was having alot of hotflashes ,dizziness to no to end and some neaseau...it wasnt fun I tell u that..Now Ive been trying to get as much water in as I can but that is very hard for me...It always has been. But the flavor water does indeed help. :wink_smile:

Hi! Im in Port Huron..I know they have a support group at the hospital here..I am getting banded tommorow so i dont know to much about the group YET..however..I believe they meet once a month..dont quote me tho..but if u call the hospital u could find out..when and where were u banded??

well I am also keeping mine a secret..a few people know but there is alot I dont want to know..however I am saying gullbladder..hopefully no one rememebers I had mine out a few yrs ago lol

Kamica, I would love to be banding buddies especially since we are being banded on the same day. Im having all kinds of crazy emotions going on now..its almost overwelming. I know it will be so worth it but Im just scared of the unknown as well..however we could help each out and go though it together , if u wanna. let me know. might be easier through email or Aim or something. lemme know whatcha think

Well Hello and Welcome! Congrats on the wonderful weightloss! I know u must be thrilled. I have not been banded yet but will be on the 24th of this month.I'm looking forward to my journey..I am however a lil nervous . I try to look at the big picture tho..so is there any advice u would give to someone like me about to start?

I also have a two wk post op full liquids...I will be banded on the 24th of June...But no one ever told me to do anything diet wise before the surgery...so Im kind of having the last supper syndrome eating everything I know I wont have again...sad huh

Hello! First off this is my first post on here..well on any forum for that matter..My date to be banded is June 24th! Im excited and nervous all at the same time..As I looked through the forum I noticed people doing liquid diets Preop..My Dr. didnt order that for me..Im wondering why...almost strange..however I do start clear liquids on Mon (the day before my surgery)..I am being banded in Port huron MI at the lap band center. If anyone has had their surgery done there let me know :tongue: Im looking forward to hearing and sharing success stories!
