I’ve had very dark green almost black very sticky bowel movements since my surgery on Nov 17 Talked to surgeon yesterday he said sounds like old blood from surgery and didn’t seemed to be concerned. I asked him when should I be concerned and he said if it doesn’t clear up by one more week. Anybody else have this issue? How long did yours last?

I’m still having the issue. Will wait until We’d to call back my surgeon

My week 2 says scrambled eggs, cottage cheese and Greek yogurt I’m still considered liquids. How do you I liquify scrambled eggs? Can I just boil an eggs and put a tad mayo and blend it? I’m so confused why scrambled eggs is on my week 2 😂 I don’t have my post op nutrition visits until the 14th

I was sleeved almost a week ago. My Week 1 plan says I can have decaf coffee. I love the taste of coffee and decided to try it with adding my protein shake to it. I went to Starbucks and they suggested I get a ice Americano decaf. They guaranteed they didn’t put in classic syrup or anything additional. Came home to mix my protein shake and Decided to look up info. Google says decaf does not mean No Caffeine 😲 especially from Starbucks. I am struggling with dehydration. Has anybody had any issues with this combination end of week 1? I really need to get my protein in and was looking forward to this 😹

I am a few days post op and I am surviving on Smart Water and Gatorade zero. Having a hard time getting in my protein. -
I am having outpatient surgery next Tuesday for Sleeve which is starting to set in and I’m freaking out. They told me I will be there only for 3 to 4 hours..... depending how I do on recovering from the Anesthesia. Doesn’t that seem too little of time? For some reason I am most scared of a Blood Clots. ( I am a hypochondriac) I have high blood pressure and they may also correct a small hiatus hernia in my stomach. Did everybody get blood thinners post op form home? My Dr only prescribed the pain medication and nausea medication. Is blood thinners usually only prescribed for people with previous blood clot issues? I’m also scared of getting COVID while recovering. I’m terrified of getting it and my body too weak to recover. Again I am a self diagnosed hypochondriac, so trying to separate my anxiety from reality 😂

Anybody have this Dr? Any issues?

I do too however his office staff isn’t the best lol so I am like is he just as unorganized. They miss big things like sending me to get labs done or telling me twice before a test I have to fast.

Its so odd, I have been his patient for 6 months and about to have surgery upcoming Tuesday. I have yet to meet him.

I’m def not the youngest. I’m 38 with high blood pressure. 5’3 weighing 258. I was suppose to go to a hospital and stay overnight until I went from insurance to self pay. Once I went to self pay I became outpatient. Obviously they did that to bring the amount down. I just am worried they are cutting corners to keep the costs down.
