Liquids suck! When I am on liquids, my Dr.s says not to worry about calories. He insists on me drinking 3-4 slim Fast a day for nutrients. Once I am off of slim Fast he says 1000-1200 without good restriction and no more than 1000 with good restriction. I think his theory is if you have good restriction, you will only eat more than 1000 cal if you are making poor food choices. I have GREAT restriction for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast almost too good - it takes a few minutes for liquids to go down. But for supper - I don't really have any restriction at all. Some people are like that. They have a window of time where they can eat anything without any restriction. My window just happens to be for supper. Sucks, but hey - I have lots of help for Breakfast and Lunch, so I can work on and manage what I eat once day. How are you feeling - have the gas pains passed?
