  1. Yeah, my doctor told me to expect diarrhea until I am back on mostly solids. That's normal.

    Any October Sleevers?

I had mine October 2nd! I'm supposed to stay on protein drinks, jello and yogurt until 3 weeks post op, but I was so tired of them that yesterday I had 1/4 cup of grits and today I am having horrible nausea and heartburn, which I haven't had since the surgery. Now I'm worried i damaged my staples.
  3. You should be able to use any brand of low carb low sugar high protein drink.
  4. Is it the texture? I liked the Isopure protein drinks from GNC nutrition. They are clear and have a very light taste. If you can handle a milky drink, the Lean Shake 25 (also from GNC) have Girl Scout cookies flavors. They are good, but very sweet. And plain hot chicken broth or the instant protein chicken broth. I wouldn't go straining restaurant soup just yet. You need the protein and they probably have a lot of salt.

How mobile were you post op?

Three days post op I worked at my computer for 6 hours, which was a mistake, because on the 4th day I slept the entire day. At 8 days out I felt pretty much back to normal, except I got tired very quickly. I'm 16 days out and still get very tired, but I think everyone is different. Just keep focusing on your long term goal. And keep walking as much as you can.
