Awesome! I too have lost 60 lbs since my surgery 9/29. My weight loss has also slowed down but it’s about 10-12 every two months. I feel great. I’m down 2-3 sizes as well.

Just wanted to give you guys an update. The weight loss has started up again. At the time I wrote this I was 308. I am now 294. I also drank some Smooth Move tea. The three week stall is real! For those going through it just be patient stick to your plan and don’t give up!

Understood.

Good to know. Thanks

All of this is very helpful. I must say I have a friend who did the sleeve 4 years ago and she has basically gained all of her weight back. I can see that she was not dedicated or committed to this journey. She’s negative Nancy so I greatly appreciate the positivity.

Good to know. I have some small changes to make to my diet.

I’m Not taking anything. I’m not opposed to it.

Ok thank you. Do you think I need to take something to increase my bowels?
-
Wow that’s awesome. Congrats! Did you have any stalls? right now I’m down 29 lbs but I lost most the first week following surgery. 11/29 will be two months since surgery. I’m thinking I need to adjust my diet a little. I would say I’m eating about 700-800 calories a day. Carbs are at a minimum. Any suggestions?

I’m still at the same weight this week. I’m off my cycle so I’m guessing it’s not that. I’m taking a look at the foods I’m eating. Right now I’m doing 3 meals of 3oz proteins (about 150 calories) plus 1 oz cooked veggies. I have about two snacks usually Quest protein chips (I need something salty and crunchy). The chips are 140 calories with 3g carbs 20g protein. I mostly drink zero sugar vitamin water about 60oz a day. I’m having very little bowel movements. If any suggestions on how I should improve my diet to lose more weight let me know.

Good idea. I plan to weigh myself weekly and see how it goes.

I believe my stall happened a week or so after my surgery. I lost 33 lbs and then gained. 4-8lbs. I believe I lost 4 more in the past week. I’m on my cycle so I’m hoping that it’s water weight gain on top of being in a stall.

The first post op visit my surgeon was there. The next a PA. Either way I agree they shouldn’t be stumped on this one. Luckily I have other Sleevers to talk to.

Awesome! I couldn’t find anyone near my surgery date until now 😁. hows everything going for you? Weight loss? Weight gain?

This also appears to have happened with me. I lost 33 lbs after the first week and during my 6 week post surgical visit I hadn’t lost anymore. I also posted on this. The doctor just asked me if I was snacking. Which again I’m eating way less then what I used to eat so that answer was no. I’m pretty much sticking to the routine. Water intake has been a bit challenging for me too. I’m making an effort to drink drink drink. I’m told that water, tea, ices, all sugar free beverages, and soup all count as fluid intake. good luck.

Yes I’m keeping a cool head about it. I’m sticking to my eating plan and I’m walking a couple miles each morning. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I’m very new to this forum and I will update my profile. So I had the sleeve 9/29. On the day of Surgery I was 333. On my 1 week follow up I was 300. Today 308. I made it a point to only weigh myself at the doc office for consistency purposes lol.
