they put mine just under the bra line which is good...but a also found a real comfy bra at wal-mart. Its like a sport bar but it hooks in back and has good support -

Well, I'm banded!!! A little sore today but not bad. I had the upper GI prior to surgery which was clear but when he got in there I had a hernia, which he repaired. Dont know all the detail cause hubby didn't ask. Glad it over and ready to get started on new life!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE OTHERS -

I am having surgery tomorrow. The diet for me was good but I stayed really busy. My hubby was the greatest, he would not eat around me and I would walk in another room when he ate. I lost 18 pounds on the pre-op diet and I have a very clean house LOL..Good Luck -

I really like the Atkins Advantage Chocolate Royale and the Slimfast Lactose Free and Gluton Free is alot better than regular -

You and I are very simular in this fight...I too am 47 and have been a yo-yo diet since 12 years old. I wanted to have this two years ago and decided to try one more time. DIeted myself all the way up to 335 pounds. My surgery is this Tuesday July1st and I am so excited to get started. I hope everything goes well with you! Deb (yep same name too) -

well Tuesday is surgery day for me. I am on day 5 of my liquids only diet. I am starting to feel run down. I have lost about 14.5 lbs since I started my pre-op diet. Doctor told me I would. I just take it meal to meal and try to stay busy. I have decided to clean my house on Saturday to pass the time away. I feel like my life is about to start over!!!!!!:tt2: -
That's great...I hope it all works out. My WLS doctor had a great person in insurance who gave me great advice on how to help get approved. Maybe you will have luck with that too.

Oh man I am on the sixth day of pre=op diet and it has been my worst. Low energy not really the hunger. BUt I'll be having my surgery July 1st so I know it worth it. -
Boy can I relate. I had a doctor who told me to try yoga instead LOL 335 pound woman doing yoga. Guess what i found me a new doctor! That was back in November 2007. This new doctor had helped me thru all the processes and just got approved for surgery for July 1st. But my advice is go in there with your research and also make list of all those diets you failed at and have a heart to heart with the doc.

Good Luck Everyone, I am having lap-band surgery on July 1st. Have pre-op testing tomorrow! Mine was approved real quickly (went to seminar March 10th and got approved June 5th) after reading all this I know how lucky I am!!!!!
