My grandson's birthday. This is the picture my daughter was so proud of. She told me she looks just like me. I cried, she is so beautiful and perfect to me.

Hey Good to hear from you! I was banded on June 20, 2008. I have my 3rd fill scheduled for June 19, 2009. I have had only 2 fills (my doc is very aggressive with fills though, and when you ask for RESTRICTION.......... YOU GET RESTRICTION! LOL!)... I have had good restriction ever since my first fill, but it has been less so the last week or so. My weight has stalled now, and I know I need a fill.. am battling eating "good foods" versus what I "want" right now until I get proper restriction again. I, like you, am losing much slower than I had hoped, but I know we have the tool now to be successful! Keep up the good work! You are a very pretty lady! Hope to see "less of you" soon!

Yes, mL is the same thing as cc... Thanks for the words of encouragement! Just had an e-mail from a friend of mine who had mini bypass same time I had lap band, and she has lost 147 pounds! done really great! she got there first, but I believe I will get there EVENTUALLY! lol! again, thanks for the words of encouragement!

Just dropping in to check up on you... Looks like your weight is coming off good! I have an appointment for a fill on June 19 (1-year Bandiversary is the 20th)... Finally started dropping weight again, but I was at a plateau for 5 weeks! Keep on keeping on, and hope to see "less of you" soon!

you have done great! Good pic of you and your wife dancing! What kind of music do you play/sing (saw the pic of you in front of mic). I play guitar and bass and sing... mostly Gospel Bluegrass. I live in Mosheim TN... Good to meet a neighbor on here! Keep up the good work!

Yep...I am on a horse. I wouldn't have done that to that poor horse lots of pounds ago...it has been 20+years since I have been on a horse

Hey guys.. Just had to jump in here.. June 20 will be my 1-year "bandiversary" and I have only had 2 fills.. have 2.4 cc in a 10 cc band. But I have an appointment for a 3rd fill on June 19. I still have some restriction though. My doc told me I would probably never reach even half of the capacity of the band. As stated so many times, it is an individual thing. Good luck to all of you! and hope to see less of you soon!

Congrats to all! My one-year "Bandiversary" is coming up June 20, and I have an appointment for a fill on June 19. I had hoped to lose 100 pounds the first year, but I will have to settle for 60! lol! Slowly but surely! Good luck to all of you!

Hey Apples! No actually, I never subscribed to this thread before, but definitely will be keeping in touch! I would love to arrange some kind of a get together with banders of teh same month/year and we could all bring before pics (8 x 10s of the OLD US).. lol! I think it would be a real pick-me-up. Don't know how everybody else feels.. and i know traveling right now is kind of expensive, but it is something to think about.. Hope to see "less of you" in the near future!

Hey All! I was wondering where all the June '08 banders were! Lol! I was banded 6/20/08 and have officially lost 59 pounds! Not as fast as i would like, but it is steady. Was on a plateau there for about 5 weeks and the scales only started moving again yesterday! Yippee! Well.. just wanted to make an entrance! Hope to talk to all of you soon! Scales finally started moving again (after 5 weeks plateau!).. DOWN 2 MORE pounds! Yippee!

Congrats to ALL! I was banded JUNE 20, 2008. Have been stuck for about 5 weeks.. TODAY, THE SCALE FINALLY STARTED MOVING AGAIN! 2 POUNDS! Yippee! lol! Small losses = Big changes! God Bless and Good Luck!
