Hi all! I was sleeved June 15th. I was in a good amount of pain for the first 5-6 days but started to feel better each day after that. Starting yesterday I have been in more pain. It's not sharp pain or excruciating more like soreness so I have not called my dr but I have been doing more since my husband went back to work and I'm a stay at home mom. I have been lifting my 1 1/2 year old when I have to and she is 25lbs. My dr gave me a limit of 20lbs. So I guess what I'm asking is has anyone else had more pain after a week or should I start to worry that I gave myself a hernia? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

June 15th here! As long as my clearances all go as planned. My endoscopy showed a couple inflamed Patches that they took biopsies of. If it's H. Pylori my surgery may get pushed back to treat it. I'm praying it's not. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hey! I had my surgery in April and this happened to me too! It went away in a couple days though.

I was just banded on 4/7 and I know exactly what you are going through!! I too wish for the constipation! Good luck in your journey!

Thank you for your response. I have started taking Zicam and am feeling a little better. I will have to call my doc though just to make sure I can keep taking it if I have to. As far as the vitamin thing, I think his office takes extra precautions cause he requires a lot of things other doctors don't but I guess that's good. Thanks again!

Hey all. I'm scheduled for surgery on April 7th so I have a little more than a week and I think I'm getting sick! I was told not to have any vitamins for a week before the surgery so I'm afraid to take anything. I know if I'm sick they won't do the surgery. Can anyone help? Is there something I can take so I don't get sick, or get over it fast?

Hi all! I've been a member for awhile but I've never written a post. I have learned a lot of very helpful information from all of you though and I want to thank you! I am scheduled for surgery on April 7th!! I am so excited that it's finally happening. Is there anyone who has been to Dr. Gabriel in Smithtown, NY? He's doing my surgery.
