Any October Bandsters!??!?!
SoCalCass replied to SoCalCass's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congrats everyone on their upcoming surgeries! I am so thrilled that I am going nuts! I just want this all to get going asap! The longer the wait the more thoughts that cross my mind of insecurities. What about the rest of you? By the way... new to the site - how do you get your picture up when you post a comment? -
I hope that I am not offending anyone when asking this, and it is not my intention to do so, but what about intercourse after your surgery. I know that all of the information I have read up on just says not to have intercourse until two weeks after your surgery. But has anyone found pain with the band while having intercourse? I woke up in a panic this morning!:confused2: LOL! I had a horrible dream about this and would appreciate some serious responses as it is beginning to worry me! :tt2::cursing::party::cursing::eek:

Any October Bandsters!??!?!

Have any of you been worried that the date is so far. I have been reading countless books and many have said that they can sometimes gain weight before the surgery. I know that I am bigger than ever and don't want this to happen. Any thoughts of how to keep my bad habits out of my mind and mouth? -

I know what you mean! I am beginning to understand why people have their surgery within weeks of chosing the surgery. I am going nuts. It is pretty much all that I think about. -

I too am on self-pay. Fortunately I was approved for 100% financing so I look at as pretty much purchasing another car! LOL! Good luck on your financial standings and keep me posted! I would love to talk more with you about this journey. -

Congrats on the date! That was around when I was originally going to have my surgery but I had to push it back to October 9th because of scheduling conflicts. You are so lucky! I wish it were October already! Good luck on your journey! I don't have to stay the night either! So excited about that, but at the same time a little nervous! Cassie -
Hey everyone. I have a quick question that I have not been able to get a clear yes or no from anyone... I know that drinking alcohol is waasted calories and wasted room once banded, but I was just wondering if I will ever be able to go out and a drink with my friends ever again? I am very serious about this procedure so please don't think that I am not. I just am curious if I will be able to have a drink at my wedding one day you know? Cassie :confused2::cool2::smile2::w00t:

Thank you so much for your support. I have been wrapping my mind around all of this. I do appreciate your feedback! Good luck with your journey! -
I am having surery on October 9 and my doctor did not give any major diet changes before my surgery. I do have to reduce my caloric intake and start exercising more, which I am, but my firend that had it last December said that she ate Jack in the Box the night before and my boss said she was on liquids for three days before. What have you found to be best?:confused2:
