Is this how its gong to be??? HELP!

I'm glad you posted this. I'm feeling the same way. I've had 2 fills now and I still don't feel any restriction. I worry that something is wrong with my band. I'm also frustrated. I lost a little over 7 pounds between my 1st and 2nd fill, but I haven't lost anything since the 2nd one. I go back for a 3rd on Sept. 8th.
  5. Sometimes I can't eat much at all, and sometimes I feel like I can eat a ton. It all depends on what I'm eating. For example, I fixed a piece of fish the other night and could only eat half (and it was a little piece of fish). I didn't even feel like there was room for vegetables or anything. Then, today I had some beef fajita meat, but felt like I could eat a ton of it. I never got the "full" feeling. Just yesterday, I had a beef hamburger patty and could only eat half of it as well. Is it normal for the restriction to feel different from day to day?? I thought I should get the "full" feeling up "high" where the band is, and occasionally I do, like with the fish. But today with the fajita meat, I only feel fully down low, like in my big stomach below the band. Every day I worry that I've stretched my pouch or something.
  6. I'm having some of the same concerns. I had my 1st fill on July 21st. I now have 5cc in a 10cc band. I'm not really feeling any restriction, and I worry that I'm eating too much when I eat. I am certainly not eating the amount I used to eat (only a small portion), but I'm not getting the feeling of fullness that I thought I would be getting. With that said, I have noticed that I am not hungry between meals, so I don't do any snacking. I guess maybe it's working somehow. It's just the feeling of the "unknown" that worries me....like "how do I know if I'm full?"..."how do I know if eating too much"...etc. I also had my first "stuck" experience today. Oh well, I'll keep trucking along. Thanks for this post. It helps me to realize that I'm not the only one with concerns.

Help 3.5cc fill today now constant PB

It sounds as if it is too full. I would go back to your doctor and have them take some out. Hope you get to feeling better!
  8. What are some proteins that I can eat during the mushy stage...except for eggs and cottage cheese?
  9. I was banded on June 19th. The 1st week after surgery I didn't have any nausea; however, I'm now having lots of nausea in my 2nd week. I haven't vomited or anything, but I just get really nauseated either in the afternoons or wake up that way. Anybody else?

    lady bandsters...question

    Thank you very much!
  11. My surgery is scheduled for next Thursday (the 19th). I am due to start my period either Wednesday or Thursday. Will this interfere with surgery or does it even matter? Thanks.
