I VISITED MY DOC FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MAY OF 2008 AND WAS APPROVED RIGHT AWAY FOR THE BAND.  SURGERY DATE WAS JULY 0F 2008.  SURGERY AND RECOVERY WAS A BREEZE.  LOST WEIGHT OF 65 POUNDS IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS AND HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING EVER SINCE TO CONTINUE TO LOSE.  I CAN STILL EAT WAY TOO MUCH FOOD AND STILL DON'T THINK I HAVE HIT THE SWEET SPOT AS THEY CALL IT.  MY DOC WANTS ME TO DO MOST OF THE WORK RATHER THAN THE BAND.  WAS JUST SENT TO GET AN UPPER GI TO CHECK PLACEMENT OF MY BAND AND HE SAID WE'LL GO FROM THERE.  CAN'T WAIT TO VIST HIM NEXT WEEK....   The Doc said my placement is fine and nothing wrong on the inside.  So it is work for me to do to get where i need to be.    He did give me another fill and I am hoping this will get me to the sweet spot everyone talks about.
