Whoooooooosh

Hi there. Sorry for delay in replying, I get so caught up in every day life I don't get to check this forum as often as I would like.

Well.... things moving quite nicely for me eventually. I have my first appt with consultant's team at Derby on Monday 18th at 2.15pm. I'm really excited.

One of my friends has her first appt this coming Thurs in Glasgow. Unfortunately her local authority don't do banding, so she's going to have to go private, but so far we've gone through all the research together, so we're really glad our first appts are only days apart. By the time she's saved up & I get to top of my waiting list (if I'm approved) we should be due to have op around same time too - ie hopefully December 2008

I'm just about to start my own thread. Most of my qualms & queries have been covered elsewhere, but not the diabetic aspect, so gonna see what anyone can tell me about that.
