You've got to be kidding me!

Don't feel bad! They were probably VERY tight before. I'm still wearing my same jeans & I've lost 37 lbs. They are getting to the point that I need a smaller size but jeans are expensive. Hang in! Your doing great!!!

Well, I now now how it feels to get the stomach flu while banded . I felt like I wanted to throw up but just dry heaved & gaged alot. I guess it couldn't get past my band, I'm glad I think it would of hurt. It wasn't that bad. It was bad but no pain. I did end up calling Dr. V last night & she called me in desolvable pills & something else to. Singing~I don't ever get cramping, PBing, or any problems like that.

Hi BabyFat! Cute name :-)! I had my surgery at Faulkner. I didn't have any problems & actually liked how it's smaller then the Brigham. Can't say too much cause I was in & out. One complaint I had (small) I was right next to the nurses station & they were EXTREMELY loud at all hours laughing talking ect while I was trying to rest. Like I said small complaint.

Ok- good news! I started a food journal & counting my cals, pushed the fluids & the exercise & finally the scale MOVED DOWN!!! YAAAAAY!! I think if I keep better track of my food I 'll keep doing better. I was so worried about getting the fill before but I don't think i even needed it! I have not been overly hungry. TTYL!
  12. Good news.......I finally broke that plateau~~!!!!!! I uped my fluids, & strated writing down all food & cals, & stuck to the exercise!!! I think if I keep it up I'll see the scale go down again soon!!! Thanks!!!

    Hair Loss

Hi! I'm having same trouble w/ hair loss. I am almost 6 months out. My nutritionist told me to first look into my PROTEIN to make sure I'm getting enough. Plus you have to take a MULTI. Also my hair dresser told me about NIOXIN hair treatment system for thinning hair. I bought it for $20.00. It's shampoo/ conditioner/ & a scalp treatment spray. We'll see! HTH!

  17. My recovery was about a week. I think for most people it's a wk. I guess it depends on your job if it would be longer or not. Good luck~! It's a fast recovery!
  18. Hi! You do look great!!! I'm from Boston Ma. I've had my band since 9-25-08 & I LOVE IT!! I've lost 36 lbs & have hit a plateau for a few weeks.

  19. So, I had my surgery 9-25-08 & I have lost about 35 lbs & people are starting to really notice when we go out. We don't go out a lot but the last time my DH & I went out togther he acted very jealous (sp?) I can't stand it!!! He NEVER acts like this! Well, he did when he was 18 yrs old but not at 28!! This is something I can not deal w/. I know I'm going to lose more weight & my confidence will get even better & he is going to have a BIG problem w/ that. We have been married for 9 yrs together for 12 & I we have 3 small children together. We don't have the best relationship & he know's this. So, I think he's feeling threatened that a may leave eventually. I don't know what to do. I told him I will not put up w/ this! Please help. Thanks!

I have not experienced this either. I don't have much trouble w/ a lot of foods most do. Like, pasta & rice are easy for me because they're soft I guess. I don't eat bread hardly ever. For some reason Doritos can go down ruff if i eat then too fast but regular chips are fine (although I shouldn't eat them).
