"The next support meetings are Monday Sept 14th at the Faulkner and Tuesday Sept 15th at B&W " I would really like to go tp one of these. Is anyone going? Well, I am still stuck at the same weight :mad:. I was thinking of TRYING to stick to just protein shakes & liquids for a day or two. Have any of you done that when stuck at a plateau? Yesterday was a busy day. My oldest Lydia started 2nd grade. Poor thing was so nervous I thought she would throw up. I remember the feeling well.........I'd always get it before speaking in front of the class in school. God, I hated that more then anything!!! Lydia did have a good day & kept tsaying her teacher was very nice :thumbup:. My middle dd Karaline went back to preschool for a few hrs a week. It'll be nice once they settle in. Still have have my 3 yr old Lacie home w/ me. Paige~ Do you teach???

I eat breads sometimes........ pizza sometimes. I miss my diet Pepsi sometimes but I drank waaaaay to much of it before. I think I waited 2 months before drinking alcohol. Sometimes I do drink beer.

Well, I went to a party today & was a good girl. I brought my own salad w/ me. They had pizza. I also got a 2 ml. walk in this morning. Still going back & forth between the same 2 lbs . Gotta stick it out so I can get past this weight. TTYL,

Hey K8!! Glad your ok. My port area was the most painful too. I found the port area hurt more after a few days. Be careful bending down ! Mine felt like it would rip open. I was feeling REALLY good after 5 days. Don't worry about not being hungry because it WILL come :sad:. I was up & walking around within a few hours. Just take it slow. Everyone heals differently. OH YEAH! Jay did you read when we were all talking about how we are not supposed to take Motrin?? Can cause swelling ect.. I think that's why I had probs w/ my last fill. Just a thought. :frown:

Hi all! Went to Kohls today to look for bras. I got one but it's still not great. I'll just double that w/ my old one for now. Thanks for all the help ladies. Paige~Trust me that I know just how you feel. I constantly feel like I'm losing my mind!!!! I can relate w/ the emotional eating & being stuck in between plus & reg sizes is where I'm at too. Hang in there girl. It'll get better for you when things get back to the norm. :-) We're here for ya!

oooo, that is so scary. Now that I am banded I wonder abbout ever having it removed. I hope you have a full fast recovery.

Today I broke 180 lbs just BARELY. 179.6 lol!!! Going down from here if it KILLS ME!!!! I asked about being seen by another doc before because I couldn't get in to dr Vernon. They were going to talk to her about it but it was only for a fill. I told them forget it. They told me they don't usually do other doc's patience. They may for you where you need an unfill. Why can't they see you if your having trouble???? That's bull! Tonight I went out to target looking for a good sports bra. With my 3 little ones mind you. Usually I would go for the XL. Since this has given me NO support while running I went 1st for the medium :w00t: ~~YEAH right!!! What was this fat chick thinking????? ha! Then I went for the LG. As I'm stuffing myself & the girls into the size large.......My daughters are screaming at each other & banging on the door saying someone's coming in :w00t:! I guess they thought it would be a funny joke to play on mommie. I got the LG on but they still jerked up & down too much when I jumped up & down in the dressing room w. my 3 daughters watching like I was crazy. Of course my 7 year old had to let me know my belly was still jiggling :crying:. Ah yeah,, thanks hon!!!! :frown: LOL!!! Anyway, I did not get a sports bra tonight. Any suggestions?? :thumbup:

I know weight loss can help alot w/ GERD.

Hi! I did have a small fill w/ my surgery but it didn't do anything to help. I know my 1st 8-10 lbs loss was becasue of liquid diet for a week after. You have to do it on your own. It's called "BAND HELL". Your banded but have No restriction yet. So your hungry a lot. It stinks but does get better. :thumbdown:

Don't worry it took me 5 fills to get good restriction. It will come! :-)

Oh no! I feel your pain! :thumbdown: Dr V said I could take liquid motrin if I'm DYING. I'll be banded 1 YEAR Sept 25th. I can't believe it!!! It's weird, I don't really have any problems w/ any foods. I don't throw up or slime. I must keep my band much looser then some of you all. You think?? Maybe I need it a bit tighter. I don't know??? Well I'm back on solids already today. Ate some chicken for breakfast w/ no problem. Had a salad for dinner went down good.

I remember being worried they would cancel my surgery because I didn't lose the 5 lbs they wanted me to. They DID NOT WEIGH me either. They only asked my weight. I'm pretty sure I had gained a bit because I was having one last happy food fling before my surgery & then they SPRUNG it on me. You will be ok tomorrow. Think about how well you'll be doing 2 months from now. You'll be on your way GF!!!! GOOD LUCK & get back to us ASAP to let us know how it went! :thumbdown:

Well, I don't wish hard times on anyone BUT I'm happy to see I'm not tthe ONLY one struggling w/ the weightloss. I went for a small fill last night & I feel good today. Terri~ I hear ya w/ the 3 kids thing. I'm there right now too. In some ways I want school to start but in some ways it will make it more crazy! I only have one in full time & one doing preschool 2 days. My almost 3 yr old will be home still......OH JOY!!!! ;-p
