In the first few weeks did you feel like your stomache was able to hold more than it should? I'm post op week 2. I have no trouble drinking lots of fluid. Had some cream of wheat and realized I had eaten 2/3 of a cup and felt like I had room for more, but I stopped. Scares me a bit because I don't want to be able to over eat. -

I had to have bloodwork and a covid test on Saturday and surgery was scheduled for Monday. If I hadn't talked to a friend on Sunday whose 2 years out from this surgery I would have ran like Forrest Gump! I think last minute fear is very normal. -
1 week post op, stomache holding more than expected?

I am 1 week post op and everything I've read says 1/4 of a cup should fill you up. I ate 2/3 of a cup of thinned cream of wheat and i still felt like i had room for more. I also feel like I could drink an entire 11.5 ounce premiere protein shake without trouble. This makes me so nervous. Anyone else feel like their sleeve is larger than expected? -

Thank you for sharing. I am scheduled for sleeve surgery in a week and a half and I am starting to get cold feet. I started this whole process over a year and a half ago. Having someone share a long term success story is comforting. -

Thank you so much for responding. I've been so worried about this. All my Dr's basically say we just dont know if Covid will cause issues after surgery. I had covid in july and am scheduled for surgery the end of this month. You've given me some peace of mind! Thanks😊
