Ok.. they are now using the word "hurricane", but it is north. When you look at the map I am south down by Ft. Lauderdale. We are getting rain and some wind.

Getting hit with small "tropical depression" here in Florida so no bike tonight. I go to the gym tomorrow

It has assisted me in getting a life. I wasn't living to my fullest while being heavy. It has been a great journey ...... I now go to pool everyday, the beach, fly with no problem sitting in the seat... bend over to tie my shoes... don't get tired walking through the parking lot to the mall. I go to the gym... My life is great... me and my band! What a team!!!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

I am so sorry you got the PM. Some people just don't realize they hurt feelings by their words. No one who shows up here is a failure. Keep up the good work and please continue to "show up" for the journey.

Hey JJB.... I was banded in January like yourself and I live in Florida : - ) When I moved down here last July I cut my hair short due to the heat and always going swimming.... I am so loosing hair and I went even shorter. that and layers make it look better..... I love it short. It is so much easier when excersising.. swimming and the hair loss. Good luck with the new dew..........

I feel like I have less restriction then I had before the fill. Any comments? It is strange. I am going to get my nails done because I broke two cleaning the house yesterday. That's what I get for cleaning!!!! LOL The door people are coming to fix our new slider that we had put in for this years hurricane season. The blasted thing cost us $6,000 and it is suppose to withstand 150 mile an hour winds.... It wouldn't hold up under a breeze right now.... it won't even close!!! LOL Have a great day... Hey Everyone... Happy Sunday! Sun is not what it was in the Sunshine state today!!!! We really needed the rain so I really didn't mind. Went to the gym today for the bodyworks/Ab class. I did better.... I made it through and to me that is what counts. I don't want to hurt myself. Have a great evening... I'm going to watch the Heat beat the Mav's!!!!

My granddaughter asked me how much weight I had lost. At the time it was 48 lbs. She got all excited and told me "You lost one of me!!!!" We both laughed about it all day...

Hi all..... Got up and went to a body works and ab class at the gym this morning. This is the second time I have taken it and it kicked my a**. Came home and ending up cleaning and doing laundry all day. It is acutally raining here in Florida ... It hasn 't rained in months so we really needed it. Hope y'all have a good week...... kisses,

Happy Saturday! Eating like crazy at night! Don't know what that is all about. Made a decision to stop. Making the decision was easy, now I have to put it into action. FRIDAY Rode bike for 6 miles 20 laps SATURDAY Water Aerobics ride bike / swim latter. SUNDAY :nervous WEIGHT CLASS at gym! Have a great weekend! I plan on it!

Living in Florida we have a lot of them. I LOVE GECKO'S. but, not in my house! When the kids were young we lived in Hawaii. The kids "I thought" were napping. When I went in to get them .... found SMOOSHED Gecko all over the wall! The poor thing didn't have a chance against my boys! LOL

Greetings fellow bandsters.......... Happy Saturday.............. It is beautiful day here in Florida, but cloudy. That is ok! Weather doesn't effect my day : - ) Had DGC over night. Made a wonderful fresh tomato, garlic, basil sauce over pasta. I took the mixture and smothered some talapia and backed it. YUM!!!! Then I went for a 6 mile bike ride and took them to the pool. We had fun. Went to the gym this morning... DH and I are going out to dinner tonight with some new friends that live in the same building. Feel much better. Just a 24 hour thing. Sherry: My son is in college in Boston and he said it has been raining on and off for months! The other day he said it was in the 50's! It is JUNE you poor thing! Eileen: Kids... they want to eat! WTF you do everything for them and then this!!! LOL I hope her test results are a OK> Kat: Stay in touch with us.... It is always better to spread the pain around. Good morning my friends..... How is it going for y'all? Had bad pains in my stomach yesterday afternoon/last night. Visited the bathroom a grea deal! It is amazing now that I have the band I automatically think... OMG, what is wrong with my band? DH said maybe you just have some kind of virus! LOL. Of couse he is probably right, but I think everything wrong with me is band related! Anyone else have that happening to them? The fill is going well. On mushies today... lot's of water and back to excersise tonight at the gym. DS is still in bootcamp. That makes a whole week that they haven't thrown hiim out! lOL Got to go back to work.... After I posted that I wasn't going to excersise I saw a sea turtle from my balcony and she was laying eggs on the beach! I ran down to the beach to watch and take pictures. Since I was down there I ended up taking a very long walk and swim. God interupted my plans .... you never know do ya! What a magical night it turned out to be!!!

I ate everything I could get into my mouth like they were taking food off the planet! I had so many "last meals" that by the time I went to surgery I was SOOO done with food! I don't recommend what I did, but this was my experience. Good Luck.

I caught it about 15 minutes after it started. Made DH watch it with me... It was kind of strange to watch the band surgery knowing they did that to me! Didn't catch the nipple ring! Hmmm I am usually more alert. Was very interested in the woman have PS after a big weight loss. I talk about it if/when I reach goal. DH does't usually say anything. This time though he said something along the lines of when I reach goal and STAY there.... we could talk about! At least it opened the door since I would have to pay cash!
