I have 1 week of post op, and back to work, thankfully its work from home, so its still manageable
My surgeon said in average people will be able to be active in 1-2 Months, depend on the condition, but some people already recover completely in 1 week.
Everyone is diffefent i guess, just enjoy the process

Woaah, nice idea to put a measurement bottle, is it advised to drink with straws?I’m 10 months post op and I STILL have to take small sips. It takes me a full work day to drink my smaller jug of water(it’s maybe 32 oz total or 24 I’m not sure) but I have to take small sips or it’ll hurt really bad. Hang in there! Congrats btw !

Same here, reaching out 1 liters is already difficultHi! I had trouble drinking the first few days. Felt like I was drinking/sipping all day long but would get no where near the 2L a day my team asked me to reach (probably only got in barely 1/2 a litre total by EOD, and that was including my Protein shakes!) After about a week though, I was suddenly able to gulp Water again again.
Give it a couple more days, and I think may notice the same...
Good Luck!
Hopefully this week will getting better [emoji4]

My surgeon ask me to finish at least 1.5 liters of Water since day 2, but its very hard to swallow. Everytime the water passing thru my throat, it feels like my chest being pressed for at least 15 seconds [emoji24][emoji24]

Do you mean is there anyone doing surgery after they diagnosed by covid? Or is there anyone doing surgery during covid
If its number one, then your surgeon will be the one that deciding whether you will be able to the surgery, since after surgery being hard to breathe is expected, and since the patient already have covid history then your surgeon will be the best to consult
If number 2, then you can do surgeon during this pandemic, a lot of people did that including me
Hope it helps
