Hey all! I’m scheduled for October 14, 2020. 😬

That’s a wonderful number (tho I must admit I had to convert stone to pounds 😁). I can’t believe that in a year I could be that much thinner. With my lifetime of weight loss disappointment/failures it’s hard to imagine. But I am determined. In too much pain & discomfort to keep going as I am. Also at the ripe age of 65 my attitude toward food has really changed. Nothing is as important as health and the ability to move! that was brave going to Turkey for your surgery! So glad you did so well Your story of healing& travel so soon after gives me comfort Fingers crossed!

Oh I’m so happy to hear from you my twin! How much weight have you lost? How are you dealing with the drastic changes in feeding yourself.? I’m so curious about the pain level after you got home & how long before you were feeling (the new) normal? Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m scared/nervous/excited/hopeful!

Me too! I’m scheduled for October 14. Do you have to have an endoscopy before your surgery? My doc wants to make sure there are no surprises with the lap band removal on the day of surgery. 😳 I’m looking forward to getting this weight under control once & for all but...yes I’m scared too.

Hi. This is all new to me & I’m glad you’re all here to reach out to. I’m having gastric bypass in October & must also have lap band removed. Any body have that sitch? Any complications or problems?
