Hello. I was banded on May 14th. I've lost 15 lbs. since the surgery. The weight loss is slower then I expected. I was under the impression that the weight would melt very fast but not for me. Im told slow and steady wins the race.

Hi! I had my surgery on the 13th of May. I know exactly how you are feeling. I go for my first fill on the 20th. I can not wait because I feel like I am always hungry between meals and I have no restrictions. Maybe we can help each other get through these first few steps supporting each other.

OH My Gosh, Finally someone I can relate to. I had my surgery on May 14th 2008. I have the same pain and I can also eat more than I think I should be able to. I called the Dr. about the pain and was told that I strained the muscle where the port is sewn. It felt better after a few days of rest but I hurt it again yesterday. I ate an entire cheeseburger this weekend ( no bun) but the whole thing with no problem. I hate the fact that I was able to do so. My Dr. does not know this but I did mention my hunger and I was told I can't get an adjustment until 6 weeks post op. I guess until then I will have to somehow find some will power. Let me know how your doing. Try to relax a bit so you heal.
