I use this lemongrass coconut body oil from Trader Joe’s. It’s amazing. I’ll also mix it with a little gold bond lotion!! Use it after shower!! -
Is it normal to have poop with a ball of gas 3 days into Gastric Sleeve surgery?
Bizbaileymiller replied to Ruth D's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes. I’ve never had more gas in my life until I had this surgery. -
Is dumping a big problem for you?
Bizbaileymiller replied to Katja's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I don’t dump. I dumped very shortly after surgery one time after eating some sugar free pudding. I also cannot seem to vomit. 😳 -

Beginning BMI 35 or under
Bizbaileymiller replied to 1GardenGirl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I was right around 35. I was about 220 at my highest weight. Surgeons office considered me on the “small side”. I was approved for surgery because of my comorbidities. High BP, GERD and apnea, fatty liver and joint pain. It’s been the best thing I could have done. I feel so great!! -

Starting weight over 220 (not sure I wouldn’t get on a scale but estimate that) RNY July 2020, current weight 138. Wearing size small/medium and 6/8 bottoms. In the before I was wearing 18 shorts and XXL tops. I feel so amazing and so happy with the results!! -
Things I won't miss about being fat!
Bizbaileymiller replied to ChubRub's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Men are nicer to me now. Has anyone noticed that?? I also don’t miss wearing clothes that fit poorly. (I’m wearing my daughters hand me downs and they look amazing on me) I don’t miss my knees screaming when I walk!! -

Anyone 30-31 BMI pre op?
Bizbaileymiller replied to Lovely2020's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My BMI 37 at surgery in July 2020. I was at 41 when I started my surgeons program. I’m at a total of 56+ pound weight loss total for about 1lb a week. I’m 20lbs from my surgeons goal at 157.2. The weight has come off quickly but I would say I haven’t lost as much as my cohorts that we’re higher than me. I was also highly resistant to weight-loss before this started. -
Just the thought of it makes me barf
Bizbaileymiller replied to mrshenry's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Me too. I started using the Isopure fruit drinks instead. When iced I handle them better. They’re available at GNC. 90 cals a scoop and 20g of protein. This milk shake aversion started for me a couple weeks ago. Just can’t do it!! -
This is me at my mid-goal photo. I still have about 40lbs to go! I can’t believe I’m this thin again! The pants were my daughters and I had to ask her to bring me some things because nothing fit. Top is a Large and trending to Medium pretty fast!!

Awesome!! I did 20lbs prior and 25 since surgery! I just hit my 1/2 goal. I have a hard time getting things down in the mornings but am able to eat drink better after 11. I’m wearing “normal” size clothes for the first time in probably 8 years! -
Recent RNY - How ya doing?
Bizbaileymiller replied to Corrine2020's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
July 17th was my RNY surgery! I’m down near 45lbs since starting my program last September. 20 for surgery, 25 after. I’m tolerating most foods with exception to Greek yogurt and beans. I am aversive to water and protein shakes in the AM. ☹️ but pushing through. I’ve had some mood swings and light hair loss. I am feeling pretty awesome and my clothes are getting pretty big!!! My goal is 125, my start weight was 213 so I have just about 43lbs to go!!! I should mention I’m a shorty measuring in at 5’1”!! -
I flap my arms and bounce. I know crazy but it works like a charm.

Stopped losing weight on Optifast
Bizbaileymiller replied to Loriey's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I used shakes on and off for years and I’m petite build 5’1” and I have a hard time loosing on them. I loose the first 10 easily but after that it’s a real struggle. I lost maybe 6 pounds on my 2 week liquid diet. I had bypass on 7/16 and I’m down 22lbs! 42 with my presurgery loss. -
Looking for your experience and expertise with the Birch Bender Paleo pancake mix. Who has used this? I’ve been craving a pancake and thought I’d try this! Im tolerating most things in moderation. Dairy with exception to cheese is touchy!

Bizbaileymiller replied to MaybeMeow's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks so much @Groovymommy! I stopped the iron and have been taking stool softeners as directed by my surgeon. I walk quite a bit and it definitely helps. Gas and constipation is slowly subsiding thank goodness! I’ve heard other people mention this but I feel like I struggle with which I want to get the most of in, water or protein. It seems one Or the other most days!! Thank you for your feedback on this! hope you have an awesome day!! -
MAY-JUNE-JULY 2020 BYPASSERS UNITE!! Veterans Welcome too!
Bizbaileymiller replied to MaybeMeow's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi there. I had bypass on 6/17. Our situations sound very similar. 220 pre surgery, 200 at surgery, current weight 171 and goal 125. I’m 5’1”. Also had a hernia repair. I’ve tolerate most things I’ve eaten but have been sensitive to dairy. Issues I’ve experienced so far is constipation, really bad gas and some water aversion especially in the morning. Also experiencing some mood changes. Otherwise all has been pretty good. I’m 7 weeks post op and starting to walk/exercise!! For the most part I feel great and I’m pleased that I am down 2 sizes already!! -

Birch Benders Paleo Pancakes
Bizbaileymiller replied to Bizbaileymiller's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I had these about 2 hours ago with sugar free pancake syrup and they went down just great. I’ll report back in the morning when I go to the bathroom. I have had issues with constipation so we will see how that goes. They tasted good. A little more dense and grainier than regular pancakes!
