I am a 26 year old female wondering if lapband is for me. I am to the point of being 375 and thinking if I dont get help soon Im going to run into massive medical problems by 30yrs old. Being so young it depresses me that I am very limited to what I can do as all my young friends around me are enjoying their yearly years!! I have made an appointment with my doctor to get a refferal to Dr.Whitehead. I am in a low income family does anyone know how I could afford a sergery like this??? Can anybody recommend me the best web-sites or books to read about what sergery is for me??

Does anyone know if there is another Doctor besides Woodhead that does the surgery?? The wait list is so long I need it soon!! I heard a Dr. Leung but cant find his contact information, does anyone have his phone #?? Does anyone know of anyone else maybe on the island that does it??
