  1. I had gastric sleeve surgery in August. I went from 356 to 246 and the last few days when I bend over really far I get a pain in my stomach a little left from my naval. It hurts for a second and then goes away. It feels almost like when you really stretch a muscle but like it's also painful. Not sure if it's because with the weight loss I can bend more than my body is use to or if it's just me or if it's surgery related. Please help if you have any clue why this is happening. Aside from this I feel fine. Diet is good. Weight loss is good. I feel healthier and I feel really really good. It's just this bending thing that's got me freaked out. Scared this is serious

There's no buldge or anything and it does not hurt to push in with my hand or suck my stomach in or push out. The only time it hurts is when I bend over really far too quick Sent from my SM-G996U using BariatricPal mobile app

Been a day or two. It only hurts when I bend fully to the floor and do it fast. It seems to be coming inside near the incision site uo and slightly left of my belly button. Idk if it's scar tissue or some sort of ghost pain **** like my mom gets since her c section but I really could use some advice am I entirely alone here? I'm 7 months post op almost and it's been a breeze so far I lost so much weight. I feel amazing. This is the only thing. Externally there's no warmth or pain. I can suck my stomach in and push it out without a problem. I can push my hand into the area with no pain. It's only when I bed certain ways that it's like OW for a second and then it goes away Sent from my SM-G996U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Incisions

Hello so I am new to the sleeve. Im kn day three. I was looking at my incisions because they're are so incredibly painful I can't even get up on my own...and I noticed I have two incisions in my belly button as well as the other 4 around my abdomen. Wondering if anyone else had this. It hurts so much anytime I do anything. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. Hi there. Definitely new here. I got my sleeve done on Monday August 10th so only two days ago. In the hospital I felt fine i was moving around. Surgery day I got 10oz of water in after surgery and a few sips of broth they gave me. Second day I had 16oz of water and about 16oz of the crystal light they provided as well as a few sips of broth again. I felt pretty good and i didn't have a lot of pain only after walking a bit and getting up from peeing. They sent me home yesterday saying i was totally okay. Now my surgeon told me it wouldn't be much of a painful recovery. That after a day or two I would be totally pain free. Now its 2 days after surgery and I feel like my pain is worse now than it was in the hospital. It could be due to the fact that I have gas still and haven't been able to move around as much since my house has a flight of stairs at every entrance except the downstairs garage...so im only walking a bit down the hall here and there. Also my bed is relatively low to the ground and getting out of it without some sort of assistance is incredibly painful. How long did your pain last? Also it feels like I'm getting hunger pangs but I'm not sure. Has anyone else experienced this? Also how has everyone been with being around other people eating regularly. For instance my brothers just made a bunch of pizzas and the whole house smells like it. I swear its torture [emoji31] Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Post-op Pain/Incisions

There is suppose to be 5 incisions. I got 6 but I think that is due to the weak skin in my belly button (it would sometimed use to split and bleed whenever I would clean it) I am 3 days post op. I gotta be honest my doctor told me it wouldn't be very painful but it really is. It is increasingly getting easier with each day. First few days I had trouble sitting and getting up on my own since mt house has relatively low furniture and I'm a tall person. Now my main problems are bending over. I cab get almost halfway but nothing on the floor is reachable to me Literally dropped a chapstick on the floor looked at my mom (who had surgery same day as me) and went oh well looks like thats where it lives now. Now for incision pain.. Honestly they don't hurt much themselves. The bellybutton one does for sure. But the others are just kind of a little sore with certain movements. For me the one furthest on my left gets little pangs of pain around it when I move certain ways. Which honestly isn't the incision itself its the surrounding area of the abdominal wall that is sore for me. My doctor said 2 weeks for incisions to heal and 4 for stomach to heal from being split and stapled. Everyone heals differently though so I'd plan to give it about 5 to 6 weeks just incase. Also the biggest pain for me was gas...oh my god that gas pain is really something. When your stomach is bloated and swollen and healing to feel gassy air bubbles travel around is incredibly painful. However with walking, stretching(carefully) and changing positions it is manageable. Funny enough just had one while typing that sentence lol. I just moved my position a little and it passed within a second or two. Good luck! Just remember pain and healing aside...this surgery is worth it as long as you are willing to work hard to make it so. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Orgain organic protein. Little pricey but it's vegan. I also have troubles with dairy products my mother bought a bunch of premiere protein shakes and some protein waters from another brand. They all have whey protein which is a dairy based protein. After surgery when i got home I tried to drink them and I actually got incredibly sick. I felt worse than I had in the hospital. I stopped drinking them and stuck to water for the day since I could not go out at the time and there's no postmates around here. I had my fiance pick me up that protein powder and made my own protein shakes. I definitely feel stronger, better, less gassy and less nauseous now. So if you have a dairy intolerance of any sort you should try doing this. It really did help. Hope it helps you Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
