For the last 9 mths the tip of my tongue feels slightly numb. Since I had my surgery in Mexico I can't be seen by a bariatric Dr in the states. Nothing tastes right. I crave foods and get hungry but never eat much of them because I can't really taste them. Anyone else dealing with this and gotten help?

I am going to be celebrating my one year postop gastric bypass surgery at Disney World! Problem is I’m trying to figure out how to stay hydrated and eat healthy snacks every two hours so that I don’t lose weight on this trip because I’m already under white. Any suggestions?

Thanks! Wondered if water was still available at Disney with covid restrictions

Thank you all!

How painful is the surgery to remove the loose skin and raise these saggy, non existent boobs

Anyone else in here get the surgery and can't stop losing weight but need to! I started at 5'6 200 lbs and I'm down to 118 and need to gain but can't stop losing! I look like I'm dying of something! I eat fattening stuff and try to eat every 2 hrs but nothing helps!

My surgery was in Baja so there are no f/u's for me and they wouldn't send my medical records to me so no bariatric Dr will see me in the states

Not that I know of. I've been able to taste but it's altered bc I feel like I've rubbed oragel on the end of my tongue. It's almost numb but not totally but it's altered my tastebuds

Anyone have issues with their tongue feeling slightly numb and the tastebuds on the tip of the tongue seem dead? I'm 11 months post op mini gastric bypass and I've had this for the last 8 months and it won't go away. B12 levels are good. All labs are, actually.

I had my surgery in March last year. I know my BMI is at a good number but I am worried about continued weight loss. All my labs look good. I feel like I'd eat more if I could taste correctly. Not sure why the tip of tongue feels like I've rubbed oragel on it

What exactly is dumping like? Can anyone describe it to me? I had a mini and have lost way too much weight. Probably only needed the sleeve. Now I'm weak look like I'm dying of something! Nothing tastes like much so I'm having to force myself to eat. -

I've had labs done and nothing was abnormal except they're keeping an eye on my liver? -

Anyone have tip of the tongue numbness -
Hey guys! I'm 4 months post op and for the last 3 months my tongue is numb on the tip. It's as if I've rubbed orajel on it. I can taste very little. Hoped it would get better with time but it isn't. I've also noticed that my calves are numb too. Not affecting my gait or balance but just numb to the touch. Anyone else?

I didn't have those other things check. He is going to do endo this week to see about stretching it but he's not my surgeon. He's a gastrointestinal Dr. My surgery was in Baja so I am just happy this Dr will even touch me.

Had my blood test last week to see if my B12 was good and it is, so now I'm back to square one. I can't stop losing weight and I'm 10 lbs below what my goal weight was. Can't help but think that if my taste buds were normal I might actually eat the food I crave. Now my Dr wants to stretch my tummy pouch so I can eat more. That is scary!
