    Regret?

I’m 1 year out and it was the best decision of my life. Give your body time to heal and adjust things will get better. Over time food will be more tolerable and you will feel better. Hang in there you already taken the leap now fly! 🦅

    slowwwww weight loss

Stick in there it will come. How much exercise are you doing? I was in a 2 month rut where I lost only 4 lbs and I was 8 months out. I kicked up my exercise and cut my carbs to 50g a day and it started to move again. Remember it’s not a race it’s a marathon. Keep your head ⬆️

    Is a 7 month stall a thing?

Hi there! Same is happening to me. My stall has lasted over 2 months with not much movement in my weight. I am running about 30 min 4-5 days a week and eating between 1200-1500 a day. I could cut back in calories to see if the weight will move but it seems like when I workout I’m more hungry. I wish you the best and hopefully we can get some good tips from this.

    Low Energy

Congratulations and welcome to the other side! The low energy will pass. Give your body time to heal and getting used to you not eating as much and you will feel better. I was the same way 3 weeks out taking naps in the afternoon as I felt exhausted. Getting your protein is key. I’m about 6 weeks out and I’m feeling great with a lot of energy. Good luck on your journey!

    Sugar cravings

The Jello sugar free chocolate and vanilla swirl snacks have been a life safe saver for my sweet cravings.

    I am home

Thank you! I’m 1 month out and feeling great. I did have a question. Wow 2016 that’s amazing! How do you feel? Any regrets? How do you know if your eating too much? I’m averaging about 700-1000 cals per day and although my weight loss is good I just don’t want to ruin what I worked to get. Any help would be great.

    Anyone for August 2020

Happy Happy Birthday 🎉🎁🎈🎊🎂. I’m going in 3 weeks post op still having some issues with some foods but everything else is going great.

    3/4 week stall?

Same here. I’m 3 1/2 weeks post op and the scale has not moved in 4 days. I’ve started to walk to see if I can get more exercise in to get it to move. Also remember you may not be losing weight on the scale but you maybe losing inches so I would suggest measuring yourself too. Hope this helps and best wishes to you!

    Anyone for August 2020

Yes I have 2-3 protein shakes a day and I’m on the purée stage. I’m not sure how you can get much protein in on the purée stage without shakes unless you are purée chicken breast and steak which doesn’t sound appealing.

    Anyone for August 2020

You are on the right track! Trust the process and continue doing what you are doing. See if you can fit in more protein in for more energy. I’m taking in about 78-80g of protein a day and my energy issue went away. I had surgery on 8/26 also with a cpap. My weight has some what stalled but I’m trusting the process and putting my head down to continue moving forward. Hope things get better for you soon😊

    I am home

Yes sleeping in my bed made the recovery faster for sure. I’m 13 days post op and feeling great. I’m just about over with the liquid diet and starting purée tomorrow. I’ve been waking 1 1/2 a day for the last week and it’s really helped my with my energy. So far I am down 14 lbs since my surgery and I can’t wait to start the next stage of my journey. Hope you are doing well.
  13. Yes I am much better! I’m about 90% back to normal with minimal soreness on my right side of stomach. I’m able to get in my protein for the day (70 g) and water goes down easy. I’ve been sticking to chicken broth and protein shakes. I have 4 more days before I can move on to purée stage and I can’t wait! Thanks for checking in😊
  14. I’m 12 days out but getting really tired of the liquid diet. My head hunger seems like it’s getting stronger and stronger. 4 more days and I can move on to the purée stage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Hi everyone I’m 5 days post ops and today I feel tired like I can sleep all day. Anyone else struggling with this? Surgery was 8/26. Thanks everyone.
