Hello, we are in the same boat. I am so determined that I am just doing lots of searching on the internet. I was told that the military (husband is in the ARMY) will do the surgery and my first step would be trying to get a referral from my PCP. So I email her today. Good luck with your search!!

Hello, I see we have the same dilema, where to get banded. I have narrowed my choice down to Mexico cause I have to self pay. I'm thinking of doing it around my B-day. Have you made a decision yet? by the way nice pictures.

Do you have health insurance? That's how I'm doing it. Some people are going to Mexico and paying for it out of pocket - from what I've read, it looks like the $5-8,000 range. It seems like a lot of money but if I had the opportunity to do it when I was young like you - I'd have been all over it! Good luck Darlin!

I would try to give some suggestions to you, but I see you are the other side of the pond to me- so europe probably not the the best place for you.. I have found happy bandsters on this site who are more than impressed with some of the mexican surgeons they have found.. good luck anyway.. what every you do. M x

Girl, you look tha bomb! All of these posts on pain and discomfort turned me off from the surgery but your before and after pictures did the trick. Where do I sign up?
