Thankyou I’m doing the best I can, I had some eggs and mushy broccoli with grilled chicken when I lost my mind the other day but I got back on it and so far I have lost 10lbs in 7 days. Have one more week until surgery!

Thanks! That’s what I keep telling myself I have cheated with two scrambled eggs and only one veggie soup. I would love a bite of grilled chicken so bad. I’m so weak 5 days in of my 2 week liquid diet. Lost 6.4 pounds in 5 days. So if I have a melt down and eat a piece of lean meat or soft veggie this weekend I think I will let my self slide as long as it’s carb and sugar free and I keep losing.

Yeah I thought it would be okay for the steamed vegetables because I love them but then the nutritionist is like no absolutely nothing so I feel like they don’t really understand the reactive hypoglycemia and the terrible nausea.

Yeah I feel like I can get thru the final week fine of liquids it's just this 1st week is never ending and I had the thought if I was gonna cheat it was either gonna be lean protein or veggies and only the first week just to get me thru the hunger pains.

That gives me hope because when I feel like cheating it's nothing bad I actually just want vegetables so bad but can't even have those thru his program. Just curious as to if anyone has heard about this residue issue left in stomach?

Yes I'm asking if you know why your doc chooses to not do the liquid diet, are you having or had the sleeve?

So why does your doc not do the liquid diet?

Yeah I see a lot of people say they only had to do a few days before and my doc nutritionists is scary the daylights out if us saying if we have anything at all then there will be stomach residue which makes me think then how do other people only do a few days. Doesn't make sense to me. I Have lost 5 pounds in 4 days. But I have reactive hypoglycemia and the nausea and headaches are killing me.

I'm feeling terribly depressed because I have been on all liquid diet for 4 days of my 2 weeks and the hunger is terrible. I broke down and had 2 scrambled eggs today and I'm so worried about it. Don't know what to do. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done this and still got surgery?

What is soup broth? Same as chicken broth?

I can do chicken broth but otherwise shakes and liquids only. I told him the artificial sweetners made me sick but I got nothing for another option besides take zofran. I could not find any shakes anywhere that doesn't have some type of sugar substitute. I wish I could do the meat protein only with water but that wasn't an option. I have gastritis and very large hitial hernia as well but the nausea is so debilitating.

Please help me with some ideas. I just started my prep liquid diet today and can only have shakes and sugar free liquids, prob is I suffer from nausea already and when I have anything sugar free it makes me so sick, so I'm on day one of this dang thing and I can't move because of the nausea is so bad. I asked doc but didn't give me any ideas besides zofran which is fine but the constipation can be really bad taking Zofran. Any help needed please!! I could liquids just fine if it weren't for the nausea!! 😭😭😭
