Why do I feel like I have a stall every month? Is that possible? Maybe I'm not doing something right. This is frustrating at times. I try to stay off the scale but it's hard. Surgery 6/9/20 as of today 90lbs down. I feel like i should be losing more every month i stay at the same weight for maybe 2weeks or more smh. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app

How much did you lose on your pre-op diet?
Kittizia35 replied to TheAngryMeow's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I lost 24lbs on my "tough" two week liquid pre-op diet. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app -
You can walk right away but stick to the treadmill. The elliptical engages the abdominal muscles and you don't need that just yet. Still healing on the inside.

Hello. Don't be too hard on yourself just dust yourself off and keep going. Every day is a new start. I'm pretty sure that we've all slipped up in one way or the other. Just remind yourself of why you did the surgery in the first place. Remember it's not a quick fix but a tool to help us become the healthiest version of ourselves. I have faith in you 😊

Mine came about 1 week after surgery and it was the worst cramps I ever experienced. I literally had to take the Percocet my doc gave me for the surgical recovery pain. I couldn't eat/drink any thing for 2 days. Vomited any thing I tried to consume. The second one however was ok. Tylenol controlled the pain. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app

Thank you! Sometimes I just feel like I'm not doing enough. Or that the weight should be coming off faster [emoji1745] Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app

Thank you. I try to get at least 5000+ steps a day. I'm aiming to get to 10000+ soon.

How do you get motivated to exercise? I'm struggling to get moving. SMH. It's so discouraging. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app

Maintenance?? Is it really possible?
Kittizia35 replied to TreeTrunks's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Okay so I'm no where near "maintenance land" seeing as I just had my surgery on June 9th however I just wanted to point out that you shouldn't think of it as a diet. It's a complete lifestyle change, a change in your relationship with food. I'm learning that more and more everyday. Don't psych yourself out. The nerves are setting in
Kittizia35 replied to Chelsea0604's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It was pretty nerve wrecking mostly because my husband was not allowed to come into the hospital at all, but once you start going through the prep you'll be ok. Just remember why you decided to do it in the first place. Good luck [emoji16] Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app -

Newbie on my Journey ... did you keep your journey a secret
Kittizia35 replied to Nikki50's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I kept everything pretty quite prior to my surgery. My husband and my parents were the only ones that knew. Now I have told my husbands parents and that's it. Still want to keep it close to home. -
23 Days Post Op-Only 9lb Lost
Kittizia35 replied to KASx4's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can understand what you are going through. I've been at the same weight for the past 5 days and was freaking out. I'm so happy to have found this forum. Just knowing that I'm not alone gives me motivation to stay the course. We can do this. Don't give up!
