too tight all the time. If i get some taken out then feel nothing. I would honestly look at bypass before I did band. I wish I had done that. I only have lost 40lbs and it has been a year. I was so affraid of bypass but I really think it would have been more sucessful.

I wanted some advice. I have been banded for a year now and only lost 40lbs. It had really been a struggle. I have really been feeling pain when I eat unless it is liquid. I ate some shrimp and grits earlier today and even though it was a tiny amount and I ate very small bites, I felt horrible pain. After the food went down, everytime I drank water, it hurt. I even felt like I was having an incredible tightening in my chest as my food was digesting. My stomach almost feels sore and the area between my breasts feels sore when I breath. It is kind of feels achey under my left breast. I am terrified that I have a whole in my stomach that is leaking into my body. I did eat some yoguart a while ago and it felt fine. Can anyone give my some advice?

I recently had a fill where when I slept at night the first two night I awoke to be throwing up my spit that would no go down. Drinking liquids and swallowing actually hurt! It took a few days of doing clear liquids but the swelling went down and I am getting back to being ok. Mornings are the worst and it does not get better until mid afternoon. I have to be extrememly mindful when I eat. If I eat anything on the fly it gets stuck and I am throwing it back up

Hey everyone, I am new to this board and thought i would introduce myself. I am 35, got banded on March 28 of 2008. I have PCOS have had a hard time loosing at the rate I want. I have ony lost 6 lbs! It is really frustrating. My Dr. was Dr. Enochs in Cary NC. He and his office are wonderful and have been very supportive.
