I am trying to find a fill doctor in Oklahoma. I spoke to an office in Little Rock and they said I would need to come up with a $700 consultation fee. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you follow the rules for not drinking and chewing very carefully? Also I was wondering if you had very many fills? I was banded in Detroit in November 2007 and I am at least 30 lbs heavier. I have had 2 fills there for a total of 8cc's and I am scheduled to have one here in the state I live in August the 6th. I feel like I am 100 years old and I am actually half that. I have been trying to figure out how I am going to get the right amount this time. I do feel things getting stuck but it is usually because I gobble and then I have to drink to get it down. I figure it is pretty close if I am feeling this way. One thing is I catch myself with a drink right in the middle of dinner or lunch and then I remember. LOL I am about 265 and I'd like to get back down to 150. I have only had this on me for a little over a year so I feel like it is a waste of money if I can't get it off. My family just freaks out over the money I spent and to be even heavier.

I was banded Nov. 14th 2007 and I still have not lost. I have gained about 20 to 30 lbs. since. I have had 2 fills of 4cc's each and I am having another one on the 6th of Aug. with a doctor from my area. I noticed that I tend to still take large bites and do not chew like I should. I feel ravenously hungry all the time. I am so heavy now that I am unable to do much of anything. I actually was concerned because when I first started considering the surgery I was not heavy enough. But I quickly took care of that. This is the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I hope this next fill will help. I do notice that things get stuck but I attribute that to not chewing enough and the too big bites. I know several people who have had the other surgeries and they have lost and gained back. I didn't want to do such a drastic thing to myself but now I wish I had. If I keep on the same track it will be as though I just tossed that cash out the window. Could have had lipo or a mini face lift....... LOL LOL

I called the doctor in Owasso and they may be able to get me in sometime in August. Better than nothing I guess. I am just glad to find a local. The doctor is $200 and the hospital also charges. I didn't have time to make that call from work. I figured a total of about $400.

That is alot of money for 2 to 4 cc's. LOL My band was installed in Detroit and until the last month or so flying there for the day was not out of reach fincially. My doctor was $150 per fill. I am a self pay which is why I am interested in how much they charge. I need at least 2 more cc's. I have not lost any weight and I am even heavier than when I had my surgery in Nov. 07 I can eat anything and do not get filled up quickly. I appreciate your reply and I will call this week. Thanks

:mellow:I was banded 11-14-07 and lost 20 lbs but now have gained it back and even more. I have had two fills and I can only slightly tell I have any restrictions. I feel like I need another small fill. I have had a hard time exercising because of the extra weight. My parents just feel sick that I paid cash to have surgery and still am gaining weight.
