Today was very hard bc I'm weak, tired, depressed, and rebelling against protien shakes. But it's one day and I will continue to fight no matter how many days might go bad. I've lost 30 pounds since liquid diet. Can't be more glad than that! You are gonna do great. This is it! Let us know how it goes!

I had sleeve surgery 4 days ago. Today brought some unexpected tears out of nowhere. I am hungry and tired of liquids. I think I'm drinking plenty of fluids but not getting protein in. I read that is normal for week one. Need to get moving more! Anyone else have daily shots for preventing DVT? Dr. Didn't really explain. I've kept myself on pain meds to be able to just heal. I want to get to a routine tomorrow but I'm pretty weak and tired.

Hello, I had surgery (sleeve) yesterday as well. I have had no pain and no problem getting liquids down (except probably drinking too much not in correct time measurements). I had my heart set on being discharged today but still waiting to hear. My hemoglobin is a little low. Sigh 😕 How are you doing now? Still the same? Maybe we can be surgery buddies? Lol

Don't worry. I think you will be fine! I never had the blood test but 7days should be clear.

You should be fine. I've cut it that close before. Is it urine? Drink lots of water!!!

Good luck. Quitting smoking was way harder than liquid diet for me. I've had 2 of those tests in last several months. Both by urine and both eaily passed. You can do this!

I kinda felt that way too. I got to have my test like 3 weeks b4 my surgery. The results came back very fast and negative. I just know u will have the same. It will all work out just like u want it. Hopefully your just getting cold feet. It is gonna be incredible 😍 no worries 👍

Oh, gosh! I am so sorry. I am in Missouri and we are heading close to that, I'm afraid. I really hope the have a bed really soon. Hang in there. These times are so scary.

Hey. I'm same surgery day as you. Why so long on pre diet? I thought my 14 days is hard. I'm only allowed shakes, broth, jello, and popsicles. I'm more excited than nervous now but have been pretty nervous earlier in process for sure. You can do this! We got to stick together!

My sleeve surgery is next week 7/15. I'm on day 7 of liquid diet. Every day is up and down emotions. The pain in my stomach from feeling so empty is bad but the cravings are just as bad. I want a real piece of food so badly. I have an amazing supportive family but how could they truly understand how I feel? Just need some realistic conversations with people going thru the same thing.
