I had my surgery on 11/5/08. I started out at 261 and am currently at 127. I love having the band, I would do it again in a heartbeat if I had the chance to know then what I know now. I am mom of 3 and "mema" to 2 gorgeous granddaughters!

My life has changed drastically since my surgery. I have weathered a divorce and bounced back better than ever, am in a good relationship and have been for some time, have great kids that are doing well both in school and personal lives, all in all things seem to be alright. That is more than most can hope for!

Update 5/2012 I am now engaged to a great guy and doing pretty well with my band. It has slipped so I go in June 11, 2012 for a revision so it can be repositioned.
