Hello. I had surgery on 3/5/21 in the Raleigh area by Dr. Jon Bruce. My surgery was a success and I’m feeling pretty good 1 week post op. He is a great doctor and would be a great choice. Good luck to you. -
Hi! I've been going to the Carolina Weight Loss Clinic and I plan on being banded by Dr. Bauman. Has anyone else been banded by Dr. Bauman? I'm waiting to find out if I'm approved for the surgery:scared2:.

Hi! I'm trying to meet local people who have been banded or plan on being banded. I've finished all of my testing and now I'm waiting for insurance approval. I'm hoping to hear something within the next couple of weeks. -

He's great! He is nice and seems to be very concerned with his patients health. The nurses are pretty good also. -

I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you have no restriction. I had my surgery on November 6th and I feel like I have no restriction. I have noticed that I don't eat as much as I did before I was banded. Well that is one thing that is encouraging. When are you scheduled for your first fill? Of course my band was put in with no fill at all.

Congratulations! I think it is fabulous that you have lost so much weight. Please don't feel so down on yourself. You've really done an amazing job. I'm pretty sure you'll lose those other 56 lbs. in no time. 140 lbs. in one year. WOW, that's great!

Hello everyone! I was banded on November 6th and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm really looking forward to the pureed foods. I am pleased with my progress so far. I lost 12 lbs. in one week! -
