So glad you're feeling a bit better now Anita. Have a lovely holiday Sammy, is hubby going too? I just wanted to tell you all that the toilet issues are still ongoing, everyone keeps saying you cant expect to go much cos you're not eating much!!! I'm trying to get mor liquids down and trying to walk more, so will see if that helps. I feel like one day there's going to be a BIG POO and no Freckles lol. I have found a cure for my acid reflux and that horrible full feeling that you get sometimes, in the back of your throat when you havent even eaten. I eat 2 cream crackers with butter and Marmite on....of course it may just be the crackers that help, you dont have to have Marmite, but I love it. Sorry I've only skimmed through, have a meeting with the Occ Therapist at the hospital about my Mum coming home. Sammy, Maggs and I havent met up yet, its this thursday lol. xxxxx

Oh almost forgot.......

Mmm, I just had to read back because I couldnt remember who's daughter was pregnant, now I realise there's 2 of you lucky grannies lol. My daughter is booked in for her section on 26th August. They have done a fabulous job of making the small bedroom into a pink nursery, its beautiful, I'll try for some piccys soon. She had an unfill by Freddy boy I think in June, he told her he needed to take it all out and then when she was ready after baby was born he would put it all back in, in 2 sessions. She says she has put on 2 stone, but she looks to me just all baby. Has your daughter picked any names yet? So exciting isnt it, my daughter has 2 sons, 1 is 14 and 1 is 8.

Garry forgot to say, I had my protein drink today, it didnt shift me....but it did have an adverse effect on me....and I have to be so careful in case its not just wind :crying:

We are leaving about 1pm lunch time and will take a leisurely drive down, so should be there about 4 or 5pm, then check in get the togs hung up and scrub up etc and may be out for about 7pm. We are going to some pub thats been recommended called Bar Copa on Wharton Street not far from the Millenium stadium, do you know it?

I'm thinking twice of using this enima kit now I've read some of the instructions.... a bit too scarey for my liking. Garry I have the Protein drinks and I will have one asap, my daughters BF is a bit of a fantatic gym bod and takes the diet shakes every day. I'd forgotten, thanx for reminding me.

Oh Garry I am so upset for you, what a damn shame. I was hoping it wouldnt be that, at least you're not like I was, so full of self-pity, crying Woe is me. At least Dr Chris has acknowledged that its not your fault and hopefully will sort it all out for you free of charge. I am still fighting my case but it may take 3 years plus according to my suit. But they assure me that the manufacturers will pay in the end, they just like to drag it out, cos its gonna be a biggie. You will be back and re-banded before you even know it. And you have done so well anyway. Glad you all enjoyed the crap saga, and sadly its still ongoing. Ah well I will go now and unpack the enima kit. I drank a litre of prune juice yesterday and thought that was the end of it, but no...today we;re back to square one again. My fella says i should go to the docs as its abnormal.

well I could report it on facebook, would that be ok? A change of plan, I am on my 3rd glass of prune juice of the day and we have lift off...the performance lasted some 2 seconds and I think I need stitches, my bum is in tatters... There is more action on the way, please bare with me.

My cousins a nurse and says colonic irrigations, are just the same as enimas really...I have also read that they are far superior to taking laxatives, so will have to print off the instructions, to assist. I have tried to read all the posts, but there's so many I'd be here all day...such good support. Homecare your restriction sounds good, I dont think you should get a fill until it eases off. Sammy hope you're doing well hunny xxx. Yes my doggies are running again, maybe they were tired yesterday lol. I have never been so bunged up in my life!!! After the suppositories and laxatives and the daily prune juice, I bought some Stool softeners, and after 3 days they seemed to work. I was visiting my Mum in the hopspital and had to make a swift departure. Needless to say hubby was late and I was stood under a tree in the pouring rain legs crossed and going blue in the face. Eventually got home and (sorry to be giving out too much info) it was just liquid, the other stuff seemed to big to pass. I've had the worst 2 weeks of my life, felt choked up all the time, but I know its because of the constipation. The best part of it is ...it has spurred on my weight loss, God knows how. Yesterday out of desperation I ordered an Enima Kit online and paid the extra fiver or so to get next day delivery. Yes I am that in need. Just waiting for it to come. I was up at 6:30 on the loo and shifted lots, but now it seems like more has travelled down and we are back to square one. I know this is all due to not completely emptying my bowels and the lack of water. When I get up in the mornings I dont even need a wee, and thats not me, I usually piddle for England. As you can tell I am so up my own bum (literally) all I can talk about is my own experience, but if it helps anyone that will only be a good thing. I have vowed to drink prune juice every day and to keep that bottle of water near me at all times. The chocolate thing, try eating some just before you go to sleep, those of you with a tight restriction will awake with the acid reflux and it tastes dreadful, like sour milk. That has put me right off chocolate for life. I know I am the absolute worst baby in the world and the biggest moaner, but just wanted to share. Sorry to bore you. Garry am thinking of you. Seems like my doggies have stopped running....they were running yesterday and they're not now. Garry I will be thinking of you sweetheart, dont worry too much, it may be something and nothing.

Mandy please dont feel that way, nobody has purposely ignored you darling, I will apologise for not speaking to you lately, had other stuff on my mind, but I know its inexscusable to make you feel like an alien. We are not cliquey on here at all, its just that we just pick up on a post and reply to it, usually if its something that has happened or is happening to one of us. Homecare, what a bloody nightmare, that kind of thing happens to me. Your band must be very snug you dont sound like you even need a fill. The band (as previously discussed by us) has a mind of its own and changes from day to day. Some days you can eat what you couldnt eat yesterday, so you have to play it by ear, not so easy though, when it changes so rapidly. I can only say you seem to have gotten good restriction, make the most of it babe. If anyone likes my puppies, feel free to steal them, cos I stole them lol Yes it is very time-consuming going hospital visiting, I feel drained, I have been doing it for 5 months now, almost every day. You have to get your shower and get the hair and make-up done every day, I am getting fed up with it now. Thanx for your sweet words.

Thanx so much Singing parrot and Anita . what a marvellous idea what you did for you FIL. Sadly there's only me that visits Mum, but she's good mostly, today she was a little shaky, but that happens with her sometimes, she said she felt ok. I took her outside for a walk as it was so nice, and she enjoyed it along with a bag of Asdas lovely fudge. She really loves that. I am amazed that I can eat red meat with this band, I have just eaten brisket and mash with gravy and it was lovely....yum. I am still having toilet issues, after drinking 2 bottles of Prune juice this week, I have had to resort to laxatives today. duh!!!
