Thanks for all the comments everyone! Writing that today really got some of my emotions out and I admit, I cried as I typed some of it. It feels so good to be here today and I feel really proud of myself. But it was sad thinking about the old me and that girl who was so sad. I think I will be using some of my post today in a letter to my mother, she payed $18,000+ for my surgery and who knows the millions on raising me, lol. I really need to thank her more often for how much she has given of herself to help me. Thanks again everyone!

That sounds good! I'm always making my boyfriend his protein shakes, he gets these nasty thick choclate ones and I know could never drink those. Do you get them at a certain store or online?

Mine is kind of similar to Tricia's, about two weeks ago on our drive down to Texas, I was driving my usualy 1 hour of the 16 hour trip. Tweny minutes into me driving I feel it coming on. I let my boyfriend know and he's trying to help me get through traffic and get off the exit. Well I knew I wasn't going to be able to hold it, so he started looking for someing i could do it in.....and just as it comes spewing out, he hand me a half full McDonalds cup of OJ, at this point, the smell of OJ is making me hurl more and he has the wheel and is trying to get us off the interstate. It's really hard for him to "hear" puking, so you can imagine him sitting right next to me and its getting on him, on me, the car and some in the cup. I thought he was going to lose it. I ended up changing and buying some cleaning stuff and a couple air fresheners in the closet Walmart. And then he drove the rest of the way, lol. He thinks I did in on purpose, just so i didnt have to drive, lol. At the time, I was SO embarrassed, he has seen me at my worse, but geez, I felt bad for him. But now thinking about it, it was pretty funny, in a gross way.

Isopure is a protien drink, right? I know its bad, I've never taken any protien drinks yet.

For me I have always known I wanted to be a mom, and that to me was staying home and raising them. Cooking the meals, cleaning the house, and being active in their schooling. I've always thought it wasn't very fair that saying that gets weird looks from most people. I told all this and much more to my dear boyfriend before our first date even. And he has agreed that's something he wants also. We are young, so who knows how things will play out. He is in college looking into the education field and playing football and has NFL potential. I often joke we'll either be poor or rich, no in between. I will do whats needed for my family, if that means getting money, I would find a position in the school system, if I finish my degree or not.

It will be two years in a couple of days for me. I do not regret it one bit. I NEEDED this and it has changed my life in the best possible ways. But recently I have realized I want to stop "reccommending" it. I know in the past I have talked and talked about the band and how great it is and how I really felt certain people in my family would benefit from it. But now i realize, I didnt have anyone pushing this surgery for me. I didn't need anyones stories or whatever, in my heart I KNEW this was what I needed, as if the second I read about the band I saw that I had a future here and it was going to be better than my past. So I'll talk about how great it has been for me, that I would get the band again in a second, but it may not be for you or maybe atleast not right now in your life, that's something only you know. Sorry for the ramblings....all I know is that the band is SO different for people, the results are different. And you have to be ready for your life to be changed.

I've seen the eyebrows get done before and I really loved how she looked afterwards. I have very think dark eyebrows, that can look pretty nice when waxed properly, but I have hated looking in themirror recently because I had a "bad" wax job, they were made to look skinny and curved, so my natural arch is gone, ugh. Right now Im just waiting as they grow out....

But I'm happy for you, and I know what you mean about being here keeps you from being even more active. I felt that when i was at home, sometimes. Here, it's dial up and not my computer, so I'm not on for any long periods at all and sometimes it's nice just stepping away. Hmm...well, since people confuse me and my boyfriend for sister and brother, maybe I'll be lucky and have some pretty babies. Lol, even his grandma on first meeting me made the comment I look like I could be his sister, ugh. I hadn't heard the Angelina C-Section thing....that's interesting, I wanna see what that kid looks like in a few years, it will not be fair if its the cutest thing in the world, not fair I say.

Are the raw or roasted? You only get you ass kicked if they are roasted, haha, J/K.

Thanks Amy, I love it too. When I had just the pink star you couldnt even see it when I wore flip flops, this one you still hardly ever see it when I'm wearing my flip flops(which I pretty much live in, even in winter in Nebraska) I like it that way, it was just for me. And I have always known I ddnt want a tattoo that showed in any kind of formal dress or what not. I know its ok for some, just not for me. I was wedding dress shopping with a friend and a girl came in with ones on her shoulders and arms, she tried little white jackets on over the dresses to cover the tats...and my friend had a big green shamrock on her lower back and she really wanted a very lowcut dress to show off her back, her "dream dress" showed the tattoo and since she had tried the makeup to cover it and it hadnt really worked she ended up going with a different cut dress. But hey i'm a crazy girl who has been thinking about my wedding since I was 5, so it's a big deal to me, lol.

There are many like you here, I believe they call themselves Turtles. But really I wouldnt say you are losing that slow....We had surgery around the same time. You've lost 46 pounds and I've lost 93....but I needed to lose around 150 pounds, where as you have less than 100. I guess i could be considered a Turtle too...but I dont think so. And you are SO right about losing 46 pounds still being a huge deal, like you said, you are feeling so much better and have added years to your life.

My entire life I was totally against tattoos....for myself, just never ever wanted one or thought I would. Well, 2 weeks before my 18th birthday my mindset changed, lol. So on my birthday I got a little pink star on my foot. Then about a year later when I was in Hawaii my sister and I decided to do something crazy. So she got a vine of flowers and I made my pink star a shooting star...so I can always have a star to wish on, hehe. Here they both are. At some point I think I want to get another one, I have a design in mind that is two heart connected, that has a little special meaning to my boyfriend and I.

Niche, was does your cleaning process all entail(sp?). I took a 30 min walk/jog this morning plan on doing: 200 crunches 30 squats 20 push ups

Wasn't Mia in the low 200's and ended up like 190 on that VH1 Fit Club show? I think shes about my height too. So I do think shes very pretty, my goal is 165.

Telly you need to find the pics of him where he is jogging in only shorts and an Ipod! Mmmm....I'd get off my butt to jog with him anyday, haha.
