Thank you Mo, but I think you might have me mixed up with Kristin, she had to go to the ER and have her fill removed. I don't have that good od reason on gaining. But ((HUGS)) anyways for trying to make me feel better! Great job on your loss and everyone elses! It amazes me how great everyone in here is doing with their journey.

Hey Lins!! Glad you joined! I'ts been the same way with diets with me. I remember being on diets most of my life, I never really remember any kind of loss, nothing more than 10 pounds gone on one certain diet. It's kind of insane when i think about it.....diet after diet and only gaining, gh.

Pictures from my NJ weekend trip

I'm loving the pics Tricia! You are looking SO wonderful. You are looking tiny girl!
  7. I usually eat whatever I would have usually or that looks good on the menu. When I know its going to be something I dont want to take home or wont keep well, I show the card my doctor provided me that says I had a surgery that reduced my stomach and I may need smaller portions or order off the kids meal....something like that. I've never had a problem when i've used it. I always get a smaller portion and a discount.

    New diet i found

I dont see how you would be starving with this diet when you can eat as much as you want? The soup sounds good and I like veggies....I could really see me able to do this for the one week. Amy, I think I'm going to try this. Will start when I get back home and have time to go shopping. I keep thinking, I could be 199 by the end of a week on this diet...how I would LOVE that!

    I'm a Cornhusker!

Hi Billie! It was exciting to see Cornhusker on the front page, I just had to check out the thread! I am origonally from South Sioux City, NE and had my surgery two years ago in Sioux City, IA. I lived in Lincoln for two years while going to school at Southeast. But now I am moving back to my hometown. Good luck with surgery! It was the best thing I've ever done.

Amy, I'm going to look into that diet, not sure right now, with life being super busy and crazy if I will want to try taking it on, but we will see. I need something to help me right now. Thanks for the info!

Tricia, I'm happy you are back!!! It's great seeing people have avatars, I pu up a new one from this picture I was sent of me and Kyle from last week when we were in Texas. I wish it would show up better when i use it for the avatar, but I guess its not close enough.... Here's the original, I'm just loving this pic for some reason! So how is everyone doing? I'm so damn nervous to get on the scale Wed....doesn't help aunt Flow came today either! Hope you are doing better than I am. Good news, I joined a great gym in my hometown where we will be moving in about a month. Huge, 24 hours, lap pool(what I've really been wanting to do lately), and lots of free classes I plan on joining! So that will help me, once I decide to get out of this funk.:phanvan

I've wondered if you couold give natural child birth if you've had a tummy tuck. Anyone know? For some reeason I have always thought it would have to be C-section after a tummy tuck. I'm going to do my boobs before babies, I agree, I want nice ones for any amount of time, then if the babies ruin them, maybe I will have them redone after all baby having is done, whatever. What if any breast surgeries affect breast feeding? I've heard reduction/lifts dont, but what about implants with a lift?

Its so good seeing all the 20 somethings! We all do have something in common, being around the same age and dealing with the band. I wonder if anyone knows if someone were to get a tt before having kids, how that effects birth and what not. I do want my boobs done before I get married, which means before babies, but I dont think getting the tt would be a good idea. And I see we had a 30something come in an TP us, we should not allow this to happen! :-) We need to seek revenge on the old folks, hahaha

Thank you, thank you! I got the dress at Stein Mart? I think thats what it was called. I had never been to one before, it was down in Texas. But dang, the vacation and the wedding have really not helped with my healthy choices. I'm getting nervous for the weigh in on Wed.....*crosses fingers for no gain* I just want to be under 200 SOOOOOOO bad! Grrr...

Ok, so here is me, wearing a dress for the first time since......well, ok prom, thats only two years, but I dont count those, since I had to have ugly dresses made for my size and they were long and didnt show and skin whats oh ever. This is actually the first thing I've bought in a normal store, I actually went into a nice department store and found many selections on the racks. Even though I was scared when I walked in and didn't know if they would have size 14's and had to ask a sales lady if they did carry that size and if so where would I find it. I've never shopped in a regular store for myself I had realized...it was kind of sad. But oh well, on to the dress. The one pic with the pretzel hearts are what my dear boyfriend and I made for eachother towards the end of the night and after a few drinks lol. The one below that is me and my mommy dearest. I had some boobage problems with the dress, they wanted to fall out all night and when I bought the dress I hadn't realized quite how low cut it was. So I'm going to have a little bit of altering done to it before my next wedding in July and hopefully look even better in it, by being down a few pounds!

First time in many, many, many years I had worn a dress...and I didnt look all that bad in it....

    2 years already? Wow

Two years ago today I was 303 pounds, crying, scared, and hugging my parents as I was wheeled into surgery. My life has changed so much from that day, I'm not that same girl. That girl had never had a date, thought she would be alone for the rest of her life. She was afraid to sit down on lawn furniture because of an embarrassing moment when a chair broke when she sat down on it. She had gone into Lane Bryant only a couple years before as a size 16 and was now leaving with the 26-28's. She was so scared of getting bigger and bigger and that it would never stop. And she cried herself to sleep many a night. I still see glimpses of that girl, like last weekend at the family cook out, she thought twice before sitting down on that little plastic chair. But I'm not that girl anymore. I'm wearing swimsuits without a tshirt over it out in PUBLIC, I've had an incredible boyfriend for over a year, who has given me so much love, love that I hadn't been giving to myself for years. I can walk into a room and not be the biggest one there. Now, I'm telling Lane Bryant I won't be seeing them anymore, I'm in a 14 and plan on only shopping again once I'm a 12. I feel free, as if I have nothing holding me back and anything is possible. I don't wake up and think about food, I don't eat Breakfast and only think about what I'm going to have for lunch and dinner. I enjoy walking/jogging and actually feel as if my heart is strong and healthy. This morning I weighed in at 209, that's 94 pounds gone. Sure I had a goal of losing 100 for my one year anniversary, but things don't always happen the way you plan. I was hoping to be down 100 for today, but I know these 6 pounds will be coming off soon. And I WILL get to my goal. Like I said, I can do anything, I believe in myself now. I really want to thank everyone on LBT, I only found this site a few months ago, I wish it could be given out to every single person even thinking about the band. The knowledge on here and the people are so wonderful. And a special thanks to the Gone for Good Club on here, you all are some of the most caring and supportive woman I have ever known, thank you.
  24. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!!!! I think it would be a huge benefit for this site!
