I am 4 months post pregnancy and I gained a total of 11 pounds. One month after my son was born I went and got a fill. I gained a total of 1.3oz. That was awesome! I agree that my stomach is much bigger but the rest of my body shrunk. Getting of the stomach weight is very hard! Oh well, my little guy was worth it! Good luck to you all!

Hi Ryan, I completely understand how you are feeling right now. My son is almost 6 weeks old and I experienced the same feelings you are right now: pissed off because all of the sacrifice you've done with your weightloss and now a baby to put it back on etc etc. Let me tell you that when I was about 3 months pregnant I went for 6 days without eating and realized that I was being selfish to my baby. I went and got completely unfilled (heaven by the way). My total weight gain throughout my pregnancy.... are you ready? 11 lbs! He weighed 9.2 of them! You will be surprised that you may not actaully gain alot of weight! You are so used to controlling what you eat that it is just second nature to not eat like it is your last meal again. I didn't crave anything like I did with my first child. I can tell you that even unfilled, the last month I experienced restriction in the morning as if I was filled. That was wierd! Don't stress it will all work out. Each pregnancy is different and you can't compare the two. Enjoy it while you can. I immediately had my dr. cut my tubes! Good luck! Karen

I am really kinda angry! Not one single piece of litarature shows any kind of warning: Caution, contents under pressure for so long that PREGANANCY is a chance! What the hell? 7 months down 2 to go! I guess NASCAR and Vegas didn't help either! KJ :eyebrows:

Well, I have decided with the help of a new prescription, to quit smoking. I absolutely hate everything about it. The smell, the taste, nasty ashtrays and the worst thing, my son sees and smells it. I offically started my meds yesterday and by day 8, I am supposed to completely put them down. I am way excited but know I face an uphill battle! Wish me luck!

I am torn on this issue. If you look back at the economy, the best times are when Dems are in office, but..... I am from Texas and I am ready for the wall too! Hell, I have lots of energy now, I will come help build it!

Ya know the incident with Harvick really ticked me off. Not only did he take out Scott Riggs but my man Carl got taken out too... The race was great! The weather held out until about an hour after the race then a big ole storm came. It was a blast as usual!

Did you all hear that Mark Martin is driving the 01 car next year for like 22 races? WTF? I think the pres of Roush Racing pissed him off. He was supposed to drive trucks and now he isn't doing that either. Apparently Mark asked to drive 'part time" in Nascar and the prez told him they don't have time for "part time drivers". What a jerk! Texas is coming up in like 3 weeks! I am getting excited!

Diana, I agree, keep looking for another doctor in your area. They are the people that are supposed to bill your insurance company. If they "can't be bothered", makes me wonder what will happen when you call for a fill. Best of luck to you and keep on looking! KJ

Mark, I am not trying sound discouraging or mean, however if you are achieving weightloss at the rate you are, and not sure about being banded, I suggest you keep doing what you are doing. With only 60 lbs to lose and already loosing 20, you are right to not want the band. Good luck in your choice.

Chula, I think everyone is different. I had my surgery on a Friday, went back to work on Monday (i have a desk job basically) and was playing softball 2 weeks later. If you don't think you can make it the whole day... act like your sick, go home and rest. try it again the next day. As for the comments about taking the easy way out... don't listen.

I am not a Texas teacher, however I do have 2 children in Texas schools. One in 11th and one entering Kindergarten. I have a big issue with Perry also. Our children are our future. If you don't pay the educators what they are worth, the great educators leave to find more. We then are stuck with the "left overs". I am sorry if this offends anyone, but my childrens education is VERY important to me. I fully agree that our teachers are well underpaid. And that is a great question, What happened to the lotto money? They claim that in 2005 $8 billion was given to education. Bullshit! Conroe ISD didn't see a dime and yet they took in over 500 +/- Katrina evacuees that are nothing but thugs! Okay I will stop the ranting.... Perry doesn't get my vote either!
