3 Loves, I believe (in texas anyway) that the insurance company has 30 days from the date of the initial request to either APPROVE OR deny your predetermination. You might want to check with your states insurance codes. You should easily be able to find it online! Hang in there, you are very close! kj

i too had this concern. i am scheduled for my first fill on april 6th and that is NASCAR weekend in Dallas. I tried to schedule for a few day after and my dr. will be on vacation for 3 weeks. there is no way i can go without. i am two weeks out of surgery now and feel like i could eat a cow. i would just hate to be 4 hours away from home and be miserable because i am over filled. any sugestions?

just walk and toot, walk and toot! also try mylanta and sleep on your left side on a heating pad. that really helped me a lot. good luck and it does get better. i am two weeks out tomorrow and feel pretty damn good. you also might want to eat some steamed brocolli. that produces gas so it might get it moving for you too. i ate some at about a week out, i thought my husband was going to die heheheheheh!!! paybacks!

Get well quick Kellie, and yes that screen name has to change! Can't wait to see the sexy tummy! -
I would assume it is the same as smoking cigarettes. How in the world does she handle the munchies? Yeek that would be very hard!

Can the hospital prevent me from driving myself home?
karenj replied to sleepyjean's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
okay, so i think you are being absolutley selfish! what if you were to get into an accident and it was your daughters best friend? All because you wanted to drive home? Don't be crazy, get a friend to bring you home. Its much safer! -
Jonathan, I am sorry, I am new to this group. Why do you have to have your band removed? I am so sorry!
-
good luck girlie! See you on the other side!

Yes he used to. Cat puts on a pretty big shin-dig in texas. We actually get passes to the hospitality booth each year. You have Breakfast with the Cat 22 driver, then get to tour the pits. It is really interesting. We have some awesome upclose pics of the cars and crews. Where we camp, we usually go to the infield on saturday night and hang out in the drivers section (basically stalk the entrance/exit). We have met Jimmy Johnson, Sterling Marlin (his is an ass$%#), Ward Burton, Dale Jarrett and a few others. It is fairly inexpensive for us because of the tickets that Cat gives us and all the other tickets (ie. busch, outlaw and truck) we "expense" on my husbands work account. We do take 1 customer of his who is a very good friend. Anyway we own a travel trailer so our camp site is only $150 for the whole week. The track is in a "dry" county so we get to bring a 14"x14" cooler per person. We bring lots of beer, and lunch/snacks so for the most part it's cheap. We always go overboard though on the t-shirts, hats etc.... what can I say?

well considering I have only seen Texas live, i'd have to say texas! It is an awe inspiring site! I do like California too! We are fortunate that we have family close. I have a 4 year old son that loves Jr. and Kayse Kane and wants to go to the races so bad. We told him that when he was 6 we'd take him. If you ever get a chance to go to the races you will appreciate the sport even more! My husband works for Catepillar so we always get great seats and it is the most amazing experience every time! Especially when the stealth bomber flys over! My goodness is it breathtaking!
