    Witchy Woman

Hi, I was banded November 19th. Surgery went well, however, I tried doing those shakes up until November 28th when I finally spoke to my surgeon. Up until then I was not able to get one shakes down to save my life! After trying the shake, I couldn't even get Water down past that. Come to find out 10 days after surgery I have become lactose intolerable. I am sure you can imagine how weak and sick I was from not getting ANY fluids in me for that time period. This isn't my problem though. I have been extremely witchy at home, unfortunatly my husband is getting the brunt of it. I am starting to feel much better now that I am getting the nutrients I need, but still not feeling just right. Is there anyone else that has experienced the horrible mood swings? I want to know if it is in fact what my body is going through or if it is just plain old me! Thanks for your time!

    new to this

Hi, My name is Tonya. I am in the middle of doing the footwork needed to get insurance approval for the lapband. I went to my first support meeting last night. I found the support meeting to be quite discouraging though. Has anyone else had this problem? By discouraging I mean that I heard all the cons instead of hearing the 'heppy' outcome. I realize that this is a life changing event and all that but shouldn't we be hearing the good things as well? Prepared is one thing - scared is another.
