Kim Scrivener

Hi, my name is Kim Scrivener. I found this site looking for bariatric dishes. I started this Journey in Dec of 2015. I am a Meridian Medicaid patient. I contacted the Bariatric program to see what I had to do. With my insurance, I had to lose 10% of my weight, see a dietician, a psychologist and have some test done. I went to a seminar at at the surgeons office then started going to support group every month. So my journey started at me weighing 274lbs and so I had to lose 28lbs. I did all that was required and on Sept 26th,2016, I had the gastric sleeve done. Here it is 2020 and I now weigh 140 at my highest and 131 at my lowest. My weight goes up and down. I am a 56 yr old mother of 2 daughters , 1 son and grandmother of 1 boy and 2 girls. I love to spend time with my family and friends plus go to Mixed Martial Art events.
