Newbie considering surgery. Help with negative thoughts?
WInston223322 replied to Kam1177's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Was not Insurmountable at all - This is a Journey not a race so let K.I.S.S it - keep it simple style! You loose 2,5 pounds a week Which is 10 Pounds a month Which is 120 Pounds a year So around 15-20 Months your insurmountable Task is completed! Nope its all in the Math Trust me the time will fly by and the Journey down will be filled with Great Feelings of getting happy - As for cash me and you will get our money back in 20 months in reduced food costs, Not eating out and Drinking. Good investment. I looked at it this way, My 13k cash payment would not have fit in the URN with me if i kept going the way i was going Aj -
Ok why does this come up! You need to lead a balanced diet with proper foods. You are a WLS surgery patient Not a freakin Cave Man! You are starting a Journey. You are going to get Rocked on her as others help you. You need to get a Nutritional Plan Not some Fad Diet. Get on the journey bet get prepared. Search here for WLS Meal Plans Sorry to be so brash but you need to get organized the surgery is a Tool you have to set up and run the shop

WInston223322 replied to New&Improved's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes You look like me Freakin to tiny: This part sucks getting tight and balanced. I think you are done now time to tighten and enjoy -
Waste of time .. Rice has nothing in it - Ok I love rice also so if my kids are making it i will take a ramicken full with some good butter and enjoy it. But as a food choice a very poor one that will give you nothing out of it and fill you up quickly. I suggest you start with brown rice and small amounts - It does expand in the tummy and could get messy

I never used one just focused on exercise and eating correctly. My view only is getting hooked to a App is not the way to do this for the rest of your life. But that is just me -
I went Bat Poop crazy - Ran all over town eating out and going nutz! Nothing wrong with it if it helps clear your mind and get ready go for it! I know you wont believe me but once your mind and surgery are in order over time FOOD will never be a focus again, I have to force myself to eat now. Do me a favor eat a big sub and some fast food for me, so i can live vicariously thru you
-
Yes it is but heck i would just take the band out and see if you can stay healthy

How much weight loss is enough?
WInston223322 replied to joei0005's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
1. I chose to get healthy and Not really focus on The BMI or any chart, So my goal was to get to 235 I blew right by it and decided to hang at 225 I just like the way i feel and it seems to be a healthy weight. However the dang charts say 185 which is to low for my frame and built 2. Eneogh is when you feel healthy and are in the Normal body frame and weight. No real answer but when you look healthy and Normal that is what i think. Not to Feable and thin Not overweight -
