Hi, I was banded in Mexico and need to have my first fill soon. I have called the 3 drs near me with various results and am trying to figure out if I should go with Dr. Moazzez or not. Anybody had any experience with him? Please let me know. I need help! I also tried Dr. Brinkley (only does fills twice a month and is booked up; Dr.Elariny (has PA do the fills, not happy about that) Any and all comments welcome! Thanks all, nuria

Hi all, I'm newly banded (at 4 weeks). I was banded in MX. I need a good doc who will do the fills. I'm considering going to NYC to Dr. Ren (highly recommended), but if I could find someone closer, it would be great. There is someone in Frederick, but she only does fills once a month, and is very tied up. Any suggestions? Tell me who you use and how much does it cost, please. Thanks, nuria

Hell all, I have a surgery date: March 10th, 2006 in Monterrey. I plan to be at work 4 days after surgery. Is that reasonable? how long were you all uncomfortable after the surgery? Any words of advice for pre and post op?, like how to prevent or reduce gas?, etc... what was the hardest part of the whole experience for you? Where are the support group meetings? I look forward to hearing from you all! nuria

Hi all, I'm considering getting banded next month (Dr. Ortiz); I have been reading postshere and elsewhere about not being able to eat certain foods, ever? like bread and rice, etc... what do you eat in a normal day? The other question is about fills; should I fly out to Tj or go to a local doctor ($200+)? I'm in Maryland. Any help will be appreciated.... Regards to all, nuria

Thanks to both of you, Susan and Diane. I'll look into all the information you've given me. I'm considering Dr. Rumbaut also. Anyone have any comments about him? Is he more expensive?
