Hi Joelle...for the surgery, I had to have an upper GI, tons of blood work, EKG, and pulmonary test. It was all completed in one day. This hasn't been that horrible of a situation. The first 2 days were very painful, but after that they were fine. In fact, I had my surgery on Monday and was in class on Friday for summer school. So it has been tolerable. I just stay thirsty. Sipping water doesn't cut it for me.
Good luck!!
