I finally got my port turned around so it could get filled. So far since July '08 I have lost 50 pounds. I'm pretty happy about it, but wished I didn't have that set back. I'm on a roll now and hope to lose 50 more by summer!

I was banded on March 18, 2008. I have not had my first fill yet and have only lost 28 pounds :blushing: I went two weeks ago to get my first fill, but when my doctor started poking he couldn't get the needle to hit the center of my port. I'm going tomorrow to have it done with x-ray. I'm really discouraged because he said my port may have turned side ways or upside down. I REALLY don't want to have surgery again! Anyone else have this problem?

I was banded on 3/18/08 and have lost 25 pounds. I have my first adjustment on June 6th. I lost weight so quickly at the beginning and then it slowed down and I haven't lost that much this month. I'm a little nervous about the first fill. Does it hurt? I'm worried I still won't lose weight even after a fill...I think I have a complex.
