    Struggling badly..

    When I got to that point. I went to mushy foods very slowly.sunny side up. Or yogurt. Tuna fish in blender. Like a teaspoon or less

    Codine is an opioid in which causes constipation.. Give it a few days. Your bowel movements will be different for a while..try prune juice.
  5. try taking smaller sips.. Im 4 months out of vsg. If I take to big of a drink or to big of a bite . it hurts like hell. . I had the same issue at first so I went out and bought a sippy cup.. I used the sippy cup for 2 days. Helped me take smaller sips...

    Breaking the 3 week stall!

    Im 4 months out of vsg. Here came the 3 week stall. And still stalling. Back to protein shakes, to get my protein in. This is the only thing I can think to do to break this stall. I do know that my clothes are fitting diffrently, just wish the number on the scale would move.

    Lacerated my speen. Mind you I flew home across country. This was done at mexico bariatric center..yes this can happen any where . should have been caught before going home.. All so the cleanliness is not up to the United States standards.

  10. Yes it's normal to have a little bit of nerves. .It's a major life choice. Obviously you feel the need to have this done. Then do it! Do it for you. Knowledge is power..learn all you can. Defiantly get you vitamins!
  11. I knew something wasent right.. I procrastinated. .my pain wasent getting better but worse..a horrible pain in front shoulder, uncomfortable feeling under left rib. I can all so say the drs here in the states frown on us going to mexico...i figured due to money. Comes to find out it has more to do with cleanliness and safety measures.. I have a feeling it's going to be a long battle.. 3 weeks out can hardly hold an oz of food .. I just want to get healthy ! Resume my life..

I did not go Oasis of Hope in which I wish I would have I went to Mexico bariatric center what a huge mistake it wasn't very unclean very unsterile they lacerated my spleen finding that out when I got back here to Michigan it almost cost me my life they decided to remove 95% of my stomach which is not recommended please do your research before going to Mexico
  13. I ended up canceling my surgery at oasis of hope..do to unforseen circumstances. I have nothing bad to say about them...they refunded my deposit.. Now I'm going to Mexico Bariatric Center on June 6th. I believe things happen for a reason.. I started my 1 week diet. I feel bad a ate a healthy Protein salad...but now I start my liquid diet and im ready👍

    first I was going to oasis of hope now im going to mexico bariatric center arrive on 5th . surgery the 6th come back on the 8th..are you have binge eating issues ..i sure am..ugh. Where are you haveing yours done?

    I had to reschedule . I go in on the 6th! I will for sure let people know...Dont seem like people share thoughts right after surgery. Unless im not looking in the rite forum.
  22. Binge eating before sugery? 

    I'm having sleeve done on the 6th. I'm stuffing my face with every kind of food imaginable . Any one else having this issue? Is this a part of prepairing for what to come?

      It's called "food funeral".

      IMO it's kind of normal as people are very often being told "You can't have this food after WLS and don't even think about having that food after WLS!!"

    Sleeve.. Im a women traveling alone. In hopes to find someone to run around with after our surgery. Rather it's shopping or beach.

    I had to cancel my surgery for unseen circumstances. Now I have a new date. June 6th leaving the 5th..going to mexico bariatric clinic...i believe things happen for a reason. So far they seem to be more thuro on their process which makes me feel more confident in my decision.
  25. Gastric sleeve may 28th at oasis of hope mexico. Dr. Gonzales. What are some essentials to have on hand when getting back from surgery? Any tips.
