Glad to here everything is work better for you. I am doing much better myself after they removed some fill from me. I gain back 2 lbs after not eating for a wek but I am sitting there right now. In two more weeks I will se the DR. again for a check up and will ask to get a small fill again. I have restriction not but can eat just a little to much. Other then that I am all good . I have now only 2cc in 5 cc band. Hope that everyone else is doing good also. Just a note that to fix the leak in my hose th eoperation was not bad at all. sore for two days only. Hello to all Went to the DR today 2 1/2 hrs away and I still have a very tight problem. Only soft food. So I asked them and told what was going on and they said also I was too tight so they checked the amaount and removed 1/2 cc from my 5cc band. What a difference that made. Pain in chest gone. Water test was just fine. On the way home We stopped food supper and I had a cup of soup and that went down ok so I thought I might as well try some fish my wife had and it was ok also. I had a cup of soup and a piece of fish 2"x 4" piece and I was full. Worked just like it should I am so happy. In 7 days I lost 21 lbs because I could not eat very much. I could drink water slowly so that saved me. I do have a little infection in the hernai repair but nothing to worry about the DR says . Have to take some pills for 10 days and see how that goes. Other then that everthing is GREAT NOW. I love the band and how it works when it is working right and now it is right again:thumbup::thumbup:. Hope everyone else is doing OK Keith

I can take water ,Coffee but slow. Today I ate some mashed potato's with a little gravey and everything went very good. I think you are right about the swelling. If I were you I would give them a call ASAP. That is what they are there for. Hope everything turns out OK for you. I am still haveing a very Tight feeling but getting better as the days go on. Well I had my operation and now two days out doing very good. What they found on me was the hose by the connection from the band had a rip in it. They do not know why because I am 4 years from my first operation.He fixed the hose replaced the port being in there and relocated the port a little too. It was funny because I went in for the fix but the Dr noticed that I had a bad hernia by the belly button so he said they would fix that also since I was put out so I had two operation on the same day. That is a little sore were he fixed that but no pain by the port area. Anyway I am doing just fine and I have allot of restirction now.He added 2.5 in my 5 cc band. I was at 3 cc before the leak. I am little tight today but will get better after the swelling goes down from the bigger fill. I am always like this after a fill for three to four days. Just drinking my meals no hard food for now. Hope everyone else is doing ok:smile:

My Insurance is covering the replacement for me. I turn in a request and they said they would cover it.. I am glad they are or it would come out of my pocket. As of what I understand there is no warrenty on anyof the lapbands or ports unless they can see it was faulty then the company might pay for the replacement. Hope this helps and you can vent anytime you want. That is what this forum is for. We all can help each other.:thumbup:

I will let you all know what they find out and why if they know after my replacement. Talk again soon I did have a very heavy box about 100LBS fall against my port area but who knows. They think that might have done it but not sure. :eek:

Glad to here everything went ok for you. For me I got up one morning and had NO restriction at all. Stayed like that for about three months then decided to get to the DR office. They check my fill and I lost 2/3's of my fill. They put back in most of what I lost and said to come back in 1 month which I did . At that time I lost more then before. so they added more that day waited about 15 min's to fiind out I lost some already so they did a altrosound on me and they could see that I was leaking by the port because it was very cloudy in that aera so that is when they said they would like to replace the port on me. I hope it is just the port but they said they will not know for sure until they get into it and check it out. If it is more then just the port they will do all at the same time. My Dr is the greatest because he help design the lapband from the beginning. I hope to get this fixed so I am not hungery anymore . What ever it takes to fix this I will do because I miss my band that keeps me in line all the time. Have a great one :eek: Thrusday is the day of replacement. Comming fast Yahoo:thumbup:

I am stuck and my weight is staying the same. I have lost 110 lbs in one year 8 months and that is very Good but for the last 6 months I have not gained or lost anything. I am just eating 1 1/2 cups of good food and staying around 1200 to 1300 cal per day. Whats up with this? I am active but maybe I should do some more of the Ex word. Or should I cut back on the food. :whoo:Hello to ALL Just wanted to check in after have my lapband for 13 month. I have lost 110 lbs and with little complication. I say that if I have a problem that is is self inflicted. I am down 5 pants sizes and feeling Great. I am off 3 of my meds and my blood pressure is down to 113/76 which has not been that way sence I was 10 I think. Other then that everything is going great and I had to do it again I would do it ASAP. I was just at the doctor last week and they stated that I was at the right spot in my wieght loss program and that I have lost 40 % of my excess wieght. Remember that with a lap-band you should lose 70 to 85% of your wieght in two years so I guess I am right on track. I hope everyone else is lossing and not having any coplications.
