  1. I started out w 2 protein shakes and a healthy meal for dinner. It helped me get used to the diet before I had to start the pre op diet. Drink lots of water. I also went to every meeting for the bariatric surgery, it helped me understand what was going to happen etc... Good luck and keep on moving! 😃😃😃
  2. It was the 3rd day for me as well.
  3. I have my gastric sleeve on March 16th. I've been doing the 2 protein shakes a day w 1 meal at night... Protein and veggies. I had problems getting my shakes down for 2 days, I changed the flavor so now I'm good. I'm super excited about the surgery. Thankfully I have a great support system. I have already packed my bag for the big day. The last thing I have to pack is my cpap machine. I have to admit, I have had a hard time sleeping at night, may just be because the day is getting closer. I have been researching gyms to go to after the surgery. I plan on going to the gym and doing physical therapy as well. In any case, I wish all of you good luck, lots of good vibes and a safe and speedy recovery

    Struggling with preop diet

It's been a week into my pre-op diet. I'm having my surgery done on the 16th of March. for the past 2 days I haven't been able to drink the protein shakes... I have tried and i threw them up. I'm not sure why but I have been feeling super queasy lately. I have tried calling my dietician, but the phone hangs up on me every time. I have eaten more veggies tho being on this diet.... definitely makes you feel like your starving, not sure if that's cheating or not.... I'm going to try to get my shakes down again today... have been drinking plenty of liquids... decaf coffee, water, water w wylers - SF, chicken broth, decaf tea....
